I had one and was very happy with it but when we went full time we moved up to a 42' toy hauler.Re: Toy Hauler PicturesAnd, we're back up in Rapid City, SD for the summer. Here we are passing through the Badlands.... Mod Edit: Please remember to set the width to 800 pixels or less. Re: Toy Hauler PicturesWe are full time in our 2017 Grand Design Momentum 376TH. I am 6'7" and living in it so I really like the front living room layouts. These gave me much needed headroom in the bedroom and bathroom. I "settled" on a 2018 Grand Design Solitude 379FLS and I love it. Congratulations! I'm 6'4" and I also have a Grand Design Momentum with the front living room (same floor plan....I just have a small garage under the bed). We are full timers also. See you over on the Grand Design owners forum or fb Grand Design Momentum owners page.Re: Your Rig GHop wrote: What was the price you guys paid to change over to disc. I was thinking about doing this but don't think I have enough green backs in the bank. Yep, you have to sell your soul or take the bank with you. For the Titan products it was about $3,400 for triple axle.Re: Your Rig ford truck guy wrote: Cummins12V98 wrote: ford truck guy wrote: Great Mods ! !! You will LOVE the discs... I know I do ! ! It's sad it needs to be a "MOD" on these larger RV's especially. Couldn't agree more ! ! Glad to see that at least SOME are offering as an option.. Let YOU choose to skimp or not.. I personally would choose to skimp on glitz, and get the IS and discs.. I went to the disc side with my other fiver, and the difference between drums, and discs on a large fiver is huge ! I agree with you guys. A triple axle should be disc brakes stock, not an option!Re: Your RigAnd now we're living the life.....full time in our new home. Left San Diego, spent a week in Colorado Springs area, then another week in the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore area of South Dakota....down to Norman, Ok to get the disc brakes. We've been here in the Ozark mountains and Little Rock area of Ark. for several weeks. Headed to Texas next week, for the winter. Here is a pic taken this week.... It use to feel like the truck was stopping the trailer. Now if feels like the trailer is stopping the truck. Moderator edit to re-size picture to forum limit of 640px maximum width. Re: Your Rig WeXtheUS wrote: Yes... It's the Harley back there, on the swivel wheel trailer. It's a great piece of equipment, and does a great job for us being able to bring the bike along. I would really like to see more pics of this hauler that you have. Do you have pics of it loaded without the cover on it? What model of Harley do you have? Prior to buying our most recent 5th wheel (on page 13 of this thread) toy hauler we were considering a class A diesel pusher but didn't really want to pull a trailer big enough to haul my bike and a Smart Car (for her to drive when we were set up). So, we ended up with this incredable toy hauler and she can drive the truck when she wants to go shopping or what ever.Re: Need Help picking a 5th wheelArctic Fox is a great 5er. We have what's often referred to as a luxury toy hauler (if you have any kind of toys that you'd like to take along) by Grand Design. We have the Momentum 376TH that has a small garage under the bedroom. This model has only been out for a couple of years but already seems to be very popular with full timers and the factory has great customer service reviews. Here's a few pics of ours..... https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=111630.0
