I won't receive the truck for another 6 to 8 weeks, but I'm already itching to go camping. I looked at my drop hitch today and realized that it's at the lowest it can go. I'm hoping someone on here has the same or similar truck and can post the receiver height for me so I can see if I'll need a bigger drop over what I have now. Thanks in advance, EricBoondocking and charging with Toyota factory inverterI am currently towing my 2014 Palomino Solaire 209BH with a 2008 Tacoma which is equipped with a factory inverter (plug in the bed) capable of putting out 400 watts. Would I be able to run a battery charger off of this to recharge my house battery while dry camping? If it is possible, would it be more efficient to run the camper charger or a stand alone? Thanks, EricRe: New Over The Tanks Bike Rack on The Front of TTHi. I'm looking to get the bikes off my bumper and plan on using the same racks you got off amazon, but mounting them behind my cab. As these racks are designed to be mounted front to back and not side to side, did you notice alot of bike movement from the wind? I'm mounting them as close to the cab as possible from rail to rail to still allow my tonneau cover to be rolled at least half way for bed access. I'm thinking that most of the wind will be blocked/diverted by the cab, anyway. Thanks, EricRe: Factory LED Awning Lights WiringThat's definately a good thought since the dealer failed to include a remote for the stereo/dvd and had to "borrow" one from another trailer to give to me. I guess my next step would be to look for power at the heavier gauge wires and or uncapped the roller tube and see if there's a receiver module in there. I already bought a receiver and remote in hopes of energizing these. Maybe I'll get lucky and there's already power to them. Too bad she's already covered for the winter and I won't be able to experiment until spring.Factory LED Awning Lights WiringThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 29098544Factory LED Awning Lights WiringHi. I'm new to this forum and have found it to be an excellent place for information. My question with a little explanation first. I have a 2014 Palomino Solaire 209 BH with a Carefree power awning. Unknown to me (and, apparently, the dealer) it came with a factory LED light strip installed on the roller tube. I looked high and low and cannot locate a switch to energize them. The wire runs from the roller tube and disappears into the camper near the top of the door. I traced the wires to behind a removable panel where they splice into some heavier gauge wiring. They then go into a small front cargo area and disappear under the camper (hidden by the belly tray). I've pulled the command center and don't see any loose wires in the general vicinity. Hopefully someone here has this setup or has had this issue and can point me in the right direction. Thanks. Eric
