It has a number of great attributes: - Variety of lots, park models, port homes, and stucco houses in a 350 site gated park that is very friendly. Very reasonable prices for Florida. - Nice facilities including clubhouse, heated pool. par 3 golf course, etc. - Close to Orlando and to the Sanford Airport which is serviced by Allegiant Air - Very close to the space center and Canaveral National Seashore -- more than 10 miles of unspoiled Atlantic Ocean beach. On the other hand, Titusville is not as nice as many other Ocean communities. If you need more info or have questions, feel free to message me.Re: Tell me if you think this is a wise purchaseDon't give up. Maybe it is a Newell worth $100K that any park would love to see roll through the gate. We just need to know what it is to advise you. wishin'andhopin' wrote: I don't have more info yet, but JAXFL's response: In this area a 20 year old MH is way below $15K. I see 8-15 year old ones for sale for $8-12K all the time. was exactly what I need. I'm not worried about the mechanical end of it. Like I said, my husband is an instructor in a school with a diesel program and can adequately assess whether it is sea worth, so to speak. After more consideration, it's probably not going to be a good deal and won't be what we need. Re: Do you decorate for Christmas ?The $1 Santa hats look good over the tops of the mirrors. Last year we ran a set of LED lights around the cargo carrier on top of our toad and powered them with an inverter we carry in the car.Re: Memberships worth it or not?Passport American is our principal discount card. We also have Escapees and Good Sam's but those two are more for their other benefits.Re: Water Softener Yes/NoWe wouldn't be without our softener. We use the Travelsoft which uses solar salt for regeneration. We also use a two cartridge whole house filter system ahead of the softener with a sediment filter followed by a taste a odor filter as sold by the RV Water Filter Store. And every single one of our water connections has a quick connect on it (except of course for the first connection to the hydrant)Re: Siping MH tires for wet tractionSome tire siping info.Re: How you can afford it.Try to limit driving to 150 to 250 miles max and then stay at least a week and up to a month. That's about $80 to $130 of fuel amortized over a 7 to 30 day period -- or $3 to $18 per day. And less during longer winter stays.Re: Results of Wilson Sleek 4g-A Antenna/Amp/Booster for HTC Maxi Signal wrote: wcjeep wrote: wa8yxm wrote: I have seen some disturbing news out of washington DC on 2-way Cellulalr Repeaters Which is what your wireless booster is called by the way) But as to who makes 'em.. WILSON. If you are going to buy, Don't wait around, they may soon become scarce. Per Wilson Electronic Twitter, they are compliant with the new rules. I sent them a tweet the day the new rules were publicly announced. No They are not . No amplifier on the market meet the new standards that come into effect on March 1 2014 . There will be no grandfathering only units that pass the new standards will be allowed to be sold . If it is deemed your current unit is interfering with a network , you will be asked to shut it down . If you do not comply end users are subject to up to a $10,000 fine.. Here are some links to read from the FCC to understand all the new rules http://www.fcc.gov/document/use-and-design-signal-boosters-report-and-order http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57570516-94/fcc-institutes-new-rules-on-cell-phone-signal-boosters/ http://wireless.fcc.gov/signal-boosters/faq.html All the manufacturers are working on new units that will meet these tough new standards and they should all be releasing them by the end of the year How confident are you with those end of year release date projections?Re: NADA Prices raymondmom wrote: Thanks! We are slowly learning the ropes - the cost of aging tires, leaky roofs, carfaxes, engines that have lain idle... Be aware that a dealer would very rarely add any value off the options list. They generally only look at the base vehicle numbers.Re: Water softener...My filters are before the softener even though my softener doesn't have any moving parts. I figure I am filtering out some particles(iron for example) that otherwise would be "caught" by the softener media thereby lengthening my time between regeneration.
