I don't know about LD today, but in 2009 I was in the market for a 38' to 40' DP. I had a 35' 2005 gas A that I needed to trade. Owed nothing on the 35' and was paying cash for a DP (2005 to 2008). I live in KY, but was willing to drive for a good deal. I looked for 6 mos. mainly online & Phone. Looked at private sales and talked with several large volume dealers. My best was with Motor Home Specialist, Alvorado, TX. An 800 mile drive for me, but well worth. I also talked with LD's. You will probably get a lot of response to your concerns. I've had 3 MH's. Started with a 27' C. Then went to a 35' gas A. How I have a 40' A DP. The DP is as easy to drive as the C. Most DP from 38' to 40' are on a Freightliner chassis and will drive the same. I have an 07 Fleetwood Providence 40'. Any of the major manufacture brands would probably be a good choice. Some may have more bells & whistles, but the chassis will almost be the same. Diesels are sure nice towing.441Views0likes0Comments
