I use my set up for my little buddy heater. 10' of hose, filter, regulator and my 20# tank. I may tap into the main lines so I dont have to bring a extra 20#. My luck I will forget it sometime. Any sports store, Dicks, Gander Mountain etc. should have the setup you need.Re: Show your mods!!I have this small pass through and its not really any good to me so I made a sliding box. made a cover for my spare tire so the sun dont beat it up so much I see on another form a guy made a new storage box across the front of the camper, Thats my new project for this fallRe: Ever been totally rained out?We were in a tent and I was woke up by something hitting me in the face. It was the tent! Wind blowing so hard it was folding up. It rained all day through the following night. Me, wife and 3 kids in a tent all day. Our bedding was soaked. Bought our 1st. popup when we got home and now we got a hybrid for this year.Re: Walking through campsitesThe electric quit one day so we started down the line to see what happened and 2 trailers down a guy said we kicked the breaker and he would reset it. So we headed back through our next door neighbors "property" and heard a bunch of yelling from the wife. I guess she thought it was rude also. I asked her what should I have done then? Walk down the driveway she said. I told her then I still will have to come in on every camp site until I find a breaker box and that is OK? Well we dont have a very good relationship now and every year we run into them and we both get the same site. Been 3 years now. So what to do? I didnt feel I did anything wrong, Did I?Re: How do you level?I back up on blocks of 2 x 12 that I bring with me. First I look at the ground to get a idea where its low. I do use the bubble thingies. Or I have used a 2' level going front to back and side to side. The bubble things that screw to the side are a lot better, saves a lot of running around. Walmart has them for 10 bucks or soRe: One Pound Propane Re fill Adapter AZDesertRat wrote: Been using one for years and they work great. Place the 1# cylinders in the freezer for 30 minutes or so, screw it on the adapter which is tightened on the 20 or 30 lb cylinder, turn it upside down, open the valve until you hear the bubbling and sound stop, shut it off, trun it over, disconnect and do it all over again with another. I have found some brands like Coleman fill better than off brands for some reason but I have 10 or so 1# I have been refilling for several years with no issues. As someone already mentioned, it sucks when the Buddy heater runs out in the middle of the night and it 4 degrees outside. Beats running the furnace or generator and an electric heater. Same here, I use them for ice fishing mostly, to heat my hut. Works great. I use a snow bank to cool down my 1#ers. Been using them for years and this year being so cold and we refilled so many I had a 20# tank run out on me. First time ever. Esay to do but still BE CAREFUL!
