No prob give me a bit I'll put up pictures only bad thing is ya have to grind off some paint so for now mine has some white primer just to protect them a bit. I will need to at a threshold bridge to cover gap but after all this that will be no problem. The hardest part was moving the door out of the opening in order to cut and grind some of the spud that was left after the pin sheared. I did not undo spring actually used them to support the hinge side of the door. Just laid out to flat like deck and used pry bar to pry door out from under the hook at the bottom the stops over travel of door when down as ramp. This was easy as both pins where broken. *Side note if you have screen door on back roll it up before prying door out the second time we pried it out to do actual repair I only did it with 2 guys and door sprung up with springs and ripped the screen room door. After several trips to several service centers and fleetwood service centers I have found that the trailer owners have been abandoned by fleetwood and there is no source for parts and the part that shows shows no longer manufactured and supplier has no stock to manufacture part. All that is a long way to say we had to go to plan B. So we trimmed pin stubs back so they didn't interfere and welded 4 greasable bullet style hinges to the ramp and rear cross member. They cause the pivot of the door to occur about an inch further backwards but see to have no difficulty and assist springs from factory have no added tension because of this fact. I spoke to a couple of close trailer builders in the area and they all said these are the hinges and the number they are using for car hauler so I figured my toys and possible the jeep occasionally should not be a problem.. Yes pin sheared off into the door portion. Yes it appears there are only hinges on out sides. Here is only external access appears to have possibly been Allen head at one point but no longer. I don't have quick access to trailer at the moment. It is sheared between the ramp frame and the trailer door opening. Apparently fleetwood used a different type of hinge from a lot and it is somewhat hidden. Not the external hinges with springs mounted to hinge rod. I will post pics as soon as possible. I have a new to my family 2005 gearbox 335fs and while I was going through systems and packing things up after a productive day had the driver side ramp door hinge sheared off between the door and the frame of trailer. I have found very limited info on this particular set up it seems like most toy haulers use a different hinge set up. Need to get this fixed so my family can enjoy this vacation home on wheels. Thank you was a lil nervous with the sleeper setup but even without slider hitch I have pretty good turning radius. When I bought trailer P.O. gave me a slider but it needs tear down and greasing to slide. So 400 mile trip back to its new home without slider. But now I can carry family of six in comfort and my Bernese mountain dog. As well as haul the play toys. Thanks for the compliment The sleeper cab is a cowtown sleeper out of Texas called their Setter series. Customized interior to customer specs. It removes rear glass of truck and is connected by rubber boot so cooling is not a problem. It has two side ways mounted seats facing the middle with seat belts and rear entry door.272Views0likes0Comments
