Residential Refrig, not enough power
I have a residential refrigerator in my fifth wheel and running out of electricity in about two days. Currently running 2 six volts and have a 200 watt solar panel putting out about 8.7 Amps. I am considering the following upgrades, 4 Six volt batteries, adding a second solar panel and the possibility of adding a secondary battery charger to a 20 or 30 amp. I also run a generator about 3 to 4 hrs a day. In regards to adding a second battery charger, do you need to disconnect the original factory charger? Would this work?
