There are several good TPMS on the market. I liked the idea of the flow-through valves where you don't have to remove the monitors to add air. However, you'll need to have metal valve stems to use that model. On the trip, it cycled through each tire showing pressure and temperature. Seemed to work well. I could use some ideas from the group on the best way to install the signal repeater. It looks like it could get attached on or near the battery box. But, it would be nice to have a shutoff to prevent draining the battery. How did you install it? I made a small bracket that contained both the repeater and a automotive type toggle switch. The bracket slides onto the propane bottle hold down, so when park I remove the propane bottle cover, turn toggle switch and propane valve off.Looking for inputjAnybody got information about easiest route from Pueblo, CO. to the Bloomfield NM. area. Maps suggest Pueblo to Wallenberg, CO on I 25 then 160 from Wallenberg to Alamosa, CO. Then17 from Alamosa to Antonio CO. Then 64 from Antonio to just south of Chama NM. and then 64 into Bloomfield. Pulling a 35 foot travel trailer with 3/4 ton pickup. I’m not on any kind of schedule so will take my time. Thanks BobRe: Hitch heightThanks, I think you understand. I reached out to Anderson, and wii wait for a response. The trailer nose is all ready 3 1/2” lower than level when connected to the truck. I don’t think lower it any more would be a good idea given that the Andersen directions state the trailer coupler should be 1 1/2” above the truck ball when trailer is ready to be connected.Hitch heightI’m questioning the Anderson WDH setup done by the dealer. Pulled the trailer a few times last year. Went to the cat scale earlier this year. Tongue weight is only 9.5% of trailer GVRW. The rear of the truck drops about 2” without the WDH engaged. Front bumper stays about the same. No change in truck with WHD engaged. Read the Anderson manual and it states the trailer hitch should be 1 1/2” higher than the truck ball when trailer is level. Mine has truck ball 3 1/2” below the trailer hitch. Is there a correlation between hitch height and tongue weight? I have room to add weight to both axles on my truck, just not sure how to go about it.
