I had a similar problem (very rapid turn signal flashing, but no bad bulbs). What I discovered is that all of the lighting is controlled by the "Headlight Control Module". It is a black box on the floor/firewall under the steering column. It has two multiwire plugs in it. Once found it's easy to replace, bad news is that it's about a $400 item from Freightliner.Re: Material for towing a Wrangler with an A ClassIn some states you'll also need a braking system. There are many on the market. I have the Blue Ox Patriot Brake and like it, but there are others on the market that I'm sure are just as good.Re: Front end Cover Jeep WranglerI agree with John Wayne. I tow a Jeep Wrangler 4 down but removed the full width flap and only have flaps behind the rear dual tires. The full flap created so much turbulence it kicked up debris both behind the motorhome as well as upward into the rear radiator/turbo air cooler assembly.Re: Electric smoker Lil red hondaFor a true smoker, look at one of the pellet grills. Traeger, Rec-Tec, Savannah Smoker, etc. True smoke, low wattage.Re: Question about toad diode wiringParallel 12V DC, just like a battery. The bulb gets 12V, its internal resistance limits current flow. No problem at all.Re: Furnace exhaust smellAs a fellow DIY guy, take this advice at you own risk. It's a heat exchanger, meaning that there are two completely separate and isolated heat chambers. The burning chamber intakes and vents outside, burns propane and exhausts carbon monoxide (among other things). The heater chamber intakes and exhausts air into the coach and should be clean air coming and going. Any leakage between the two can/will cause carbon monoxide to get into the coach (deadly-make sure your CO2 detector/alarm is working), smoke to get into the coach, etc. A early season "burning" smell in the coach is typical of the first use burning off dust in the system. Visible smoke in the outside system is indicative of incomplete burning which can be poor fuel/air adjustment, blockage (dirt dauber nests) in the heat exchanger, etc. Compressed air blown through the two systems every year can clean out minor stuff, or provide indication of more severe blockage. Mine can be removed for bench repair as a complete unit. Good to do every couple of years anyhow. I keep screens (camping supply house)over the outside intake/exhaust ports to discourage insects. Turn off gas, disconnect DC voltage, disconnect control lines, disconnect gas lines and remove unit. On the bench, disassemble, clean, inspect (especially the heat exchangers), lubricate, repair as necessary, reassemble and reinstall. I recommend replacing the whole unit if you find any problems with the heat exchanger, everything else can be replaced. Not difficult nor strenuous process, a half day's work unless major problems are found. Proceed with caution!Re: AC Still not working---Update---I recommend you clean the condenser coils, carefully straighten any that may be bent. A clogged condenser overworks the compressor which increases the amperage draw - thus blowing the breaker.Re: Ac breaker popingI'd try the simple fix first - climb on top, take the cover off and clean the condenser coils, carefully straighten any that may be dented. Spray with a little Dawn solution, let it sit, spray it out. A clogged condensor (or evaporator/filter) can cause excessive heat and the symptoms you mention. What causes me to think this is a more likely (and faster/cheaper fix) is that it runs fine for a few minutes before popping the breaker.Re: question about towing a 2016 jeep wranglerI tow a 2016 Wrangler, no problems. Good tow bar, good aux brake (mine are all Blue Ox, but there are others just as good), you should have no problems, turns, curves, potted roads, etc. I also sometimes double tow with a trailer behind the Jeep, or with a kayak on the roof rack. Drive for the setup you have and roads you're on. All in a day's drive.Re: Braided PVC for water pump collapsing??What Bill said - do that.
