Also upgraded electric at popular point 1st couple loops not sure how many to 50A and upgraded bath houses there also. No sewer but have dump stations at entrance.Re: 30A panel on large trailer... too small? It depends how long rv has been sitting the inverter will draw current if disconnect is not turned off.Re: Tow Vehicle Overkill?I had a 2014 F250 gas 6.2 if I remember correctly 3:72 and i thought it was a dog towing 8000 pound pull behind. But i came from a diesel not even close. Going up I-77 in WV had to stay in truck lane with the gas and got 5 MPG. I am now back to Diesel.Re: Fairy Stone SPWe have never been to fairy stone but driven through if you are determined to stay there for a particular reason like others said April would be good. We go to Goose Point coe park apx 2 miles east of Fairy Stone on Hwy 57 toward Bassett,Va. We camp there because we have the senior card. The top loop in small but quieter and we can fit our 33' fifth wheel in there on most sites. Down the hill are the campsites on Philpott Lake and more crowed with kids in summer.Re: Mounting an outdoor sensorI do like filrupmark does and put mine on x-chock were I won't forget it!!Re: Travel Trailer vs 5th WheelWe are picking up a grand design 303rls 5th wheel next week, it has a floor plan we like. Being on the elderly side also no turning of head to watch tv if that is a consideration for you. It is what they call a mid profile so weights apx 9400 pounds emty. It is 32'11" long. There are a lot of nice 5Ths out there, this is our 3rd rv since we retired I thinkn we got it right this time. Good luck with your choice , former air force here so good luck to all us vets.Re: factory gen prepThanks to every one who replied to my post, all things I have thought about, still undecided, need to sleep on it for a while longer. thanks watt100factory gen prepFactory generator opt We are thinking of ordering a Big Country from rv nation with the fac gen onan 5500 lp. The option with there discount would cost us apx $4400 give or take. We will boon dock a little and other times on trip maybe Walmart or rest area, probably not to much of either. What are others suggestions and or opinions. I know we could use a pair of Honda generators and do the same thing little more hassle and would be out in the open. Just looking for onput. Thanks for you help watt100Re: Generac Impact 36 Plus II generatorsorry above post should be a new topic. !st post long time lurker. Not savy on proper etiquette for the forum. thanks watt100Re: Generac Impact 36 Plus II generatorFactory generator opt We are thinking of ordering a Big Country from rv nation with the fac gen onan 5500 lp.
