They have received a lot of rain in the last few months and friends e-mailed pictures. The Lake is up and the park is pretty much the same. We'll be heading that way in late November. Happy Camping, CarmenRe: AcrophobiaI have a terrible problem with heights and where we live I had to learn to just look at the road and make that terrible 13 mile drive to the top. Self training for many years, every now and then I will have a bad day and have to make the most of it. Look straight ahead and keep your eyes on the road or review mirror. It works for me. Carmen DRe: What to do about dead new microwave? Our Pass Port was 6 months old when the same thing happened to us. We finished the last two days heating stuff on a cook stove and when we got home removed the piece of worthlessness microwave. Got the measurements, went to Wal-Mart and bought a new microwave, installed it and everything is great. We didn't think it was worth it to tow it in for warranty, Pass Port sitting there 2 months for a microwave. The dealer we bought from, it's not worth our time and we will not ever buy from that dealer again. 10 minutes and old one was removed and new put in...Happy Campers again.Re: Short person - can't get in and out of RAM 3500I do not work for this company nor do I own stock. I just buy truck accessories from them. Try autoanything.com they have Nerf Bars (running bars)and any other accessory you may need. Hope this helps you, CarmenRe: Texas vehicle multi-year registration? We just received ours and I can not find anything on it for multiple years. I don't think Texas is going to miss out on collecting money. Our County isn't available on line, too small.Re: Goooooooooooood Morning Everyone!!!Good Afternoon Uncle Bob (our my first "Uncle Bob") I love it, so positive an attitude. We live out in the middle of no-where, so finding 5 "people" is impossible for us on a Sunday. So I'll go with 5 animals, different species of course. The squirrels could care less, they still "bark" at us when we insist they leave the yard (or the dog will eat them, and he does; it's his job). The two baby armadillos hiding under the propane tank outside the yard, even at the insistent barking of our Blackmouth Cur. (Husband intervened and sicked the dog on the babies, so no pictures). DA The Blackbuck antelopes failed to see humor in human intervention about the salt block outside our deer proof fence. The local cotton tails Do Not Care about the local BMC and his guard issues (he's already ate one). Last, but not least, traffic is limited due to the weather (finally received some rain) in Real County Texas. Only 2 vehicles today and no-one that we know. We wish you a great weekend and a Great Memorial Day. If you are a Vet, I send my greatest Congrats for your services to this fine Country. Sincerely, Carmen DRe: 4th of July mealHere in Texas, it's BBQ (of any kind of meat, mainly beef), Beer/Wine (always goes with the pit burning)or any adult beverage, with potato salad (hot or cold)/green (pastas')salad, beans, possibly corn on the cob, breads and desserts of all kinds. Cold drinks for the kiddos'. We do it up different every year. Sometimes Seafood boils or fries.Re: Light SwitchOnly numbers of it is DF-18001 3 amp. No name of the fixture or switch. I will try Radio Shack. Thank you all!Light Switch I have been trying to locate where to buy this light switch. The entire light fixture does not need to be replaced, only the switch is bad. Any help is greatly appreciated, Carmen DRe: Camp Chef Portable Outdoor OvenHi Brian48, We have the Camp Chef outdoor oven. It is not worth anything if the wind is blowing. It would not get above 300*. We have not tried in out of the wind because, well, the wind has not stopped blowing yet. I did read some reviews and they were all good, but maybe it was during the middle of summer when people were using theirs. Good Luck! Carmen
