The nice thing about the Stableloads is you can deactivate them easily when the camper is removed. A bigwig swaybar will really effect the empty ride of your truck. It did with mine.Re: Every regret your small TT?I grew up car camping in CO. Than started backpacking and bagging peaks as a teenager. When my wife and I started our family we got a 24' bunkhouse TT. than we sold that to start water skiing, back to car camping until our kids were in college. we started back with a pop up tent trailer a number of years ago, quickly followed with a 28' TT. that had two slide outs. We used It for about four years and than realized that with the size of our tow vehicle and the trailer we were limited when we would try to find campsites in the places that we like to go to, NF CG, and dry camping on BLM and NF's lands. I was also done towing a trailer. If we would have chosen a smaller trailer I may have felt different. So last year we traded in the trailer and now have a slide in truck camper. So far it is perfect for our needs. If our truck hadn't already been paid for we may have looked at smaller class C MH's. But we also like that we can use the truck for other purposes when the camper is off of it. So far our longer trips gave been to the West side of the Tetons, Southern Utah and the Grand Canyon, the Sawtooths in Idaho. On all of these trips the old Travel Trailer would have limited us in our campsite locations.Re: 3 way dometic fridge LP issueThanks for all the good advice. I will start with checking the burner. I really appreciate this truck camper forum as I have picked up some great tips and advice by monitoring it from time to time.Re: 3 way dometic fridge LP issueThanks for all the good advice. I really appreciate this truck camper forum as I have picked up some get tips and advice by monitoring it from time to time.3 way dometic fridge LP issueOn our last trip with our camper our fridge would not operate consistently on LP. It is a Dometic 3 way unit so it kept defaulting to the DC mode. Good thing we had a generator and 160 watts of solar as we were dry camping. Any suggestions to what I should look at before I run the camper in for service. Both the heater and generator are also on that side of the camper and there were no supply issues to either of these. At first I thought that it may have had to do with the elevation we were at, near 8,000 ft, but we also had the same issue when we got back to near sea level. At night the unit would Switch off LP about every two hours. During the day it would run for longer intervals on LP but it would eventually switch over to D.C. Thanks in AdvanceRe: Rear view cameraIke the other poster said go to Amazon. They lhave inexpensive cameras that work fine. They are all made in China. Look at the reviews the inexpensive ones get as good of reviews as the big buck ones do. I put in a Kenwood deck in my truck that has two camera inputs.. I put a license plate camera wired in that looks as good on the monitor as the one in my Honda CRV. Than I mounted a camera on my bottom of my fox landing and hooked it up to the front camera input. Now I can keep track of things when we are driving down the road. Don't have to put a separate monitor on the dash or console and we have hands free calling, etc like all the new trucks have. I just need to come up with a little better quick release for when we take the camper on and off the truck.
