Our first motorhome had a Xantrex MSW inverter. DW bought several LED night lights and plugged them into several outlets. They all melted within days. I figured she just got cheapo night lights so I bought more from Lowes. They melted around the LED also. When we replaced our Norcold fridge with a new residential Frigidare, I installed a new Magnum PSW inverter. Agree with the suggestion to check with New Horizons. They will build you what you want but it will be expensive. Also, their rigs are heavy so you will certainly be needing more than the F350. Most of the New Horizons I've seen are being towed by crew cab Freightliners.458Views0likes0CommentsRe: Battery replacement brands
If you don't want to fool with battery maintenance (checking water levels, topping off, dealing with corrosion due to gassing) go with AGM batteries. As noted, Lifelines are hard to beat. Full River is another brand that holds up well. I'd go with two pairs of 6volt GC batteries (each pair wired in series to make 12V). Sam's sells Duracel AGM's that are reasonable priced.
