I have owned 3 Dodge Ram 1500s over the years and made the switch to Ford (returning to the brand of my first new vehicle). I am driving it because it is paid for. Even if I have to stick some money into it from time to time it's still cheaper than a payment on a new one. I can't afford to change vehicles every time something may not go my way. Besides it is a machine with moving parts. Each part has the potential to fail over time. I work on industrial equipment every day, when something fails we do not replace an entire press, we repair it. Sorry back to the topic. Haven't made up my mind yet on exhaust. Still doing some research. Thanks for all the input though.Re: Exhaust timeThanks everyone. Still looking and haven't pulled the trigger yet. Looking at Banks Monster exhaust, MBRP, Gibson, and Diamond Eye. Now just to make a choice.Re: Exhaust timeThanks for all the input, I am still looking into this. Not doing it to be cool or anything like that. Just WI winters are taking a toll on the stock setup, and a replacement Motorcraft muffler is close to 600 dollars. I'm not gonna pay that for just a muffler. So keep the ideas and input coming.Re: Exhaust timeReally like the Banks Monster. Just worried how it sounds in the cab under a load. My father had one on his Nissan Titan and that was LOUD while under a load. It drove my mother nuts. I dunno if I could listen to that for hours on end. Any other input?Exhaust timeIt's getting to be that time. Looking at new exhaust for my 2006 Ford F250 Crew Cab short box 4x4. It has the 6.0l Powerstroke Diesel in it. I am wondering what others are using. Looking for something that isn't overly loud or have a drone at highway speeds. We tend to tow for long periods (10-12 hrs a day) so I don't feel like listening to it drone on and on. Looked at replacing with all Motorcraft parts, but the cost of the muffler alone would pay for a new stainless steel exhaust. I know the Cummins and Duramax sound different so looking from feedback from 6.0 Powerstroke owners. Thank you, ShaneRe: Family trip to the UP of MichiganThanks for the input. Will keep looking.Family trip to the UP of MichiganGreetings. We are currently planning a trip to the UP of Michigan. Looking for any information on private campgrounds around the Lake Superior area. Looking for full hookup, with things for kids 12-13 to do. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, ShaneI75 from Knoxville, TN to Lexington KYGreetings, I am currently winding down a vacation in Townsend TN. I am wondering about the I75 north from Knoxville to Lexington. How are the grades, mountains in this area? Came over Monteagle on the way in. Anything like this in my future? My Trucker's Atlas and so on have these all labeled as truck routes.Re: LED Strip Light WarningI second the suggestion. Can someone post the wiring diagram they used to hook these up via hardline? I would love to wire them directly into my porch light on the side of my trailer. Then one switch on and off. Or add another switch to my panel. Thanks!Just joinedThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 27047817
