I made up my mind to avoid one particular hassle. When you get ready to buy the Barker 4 wheel blue tote (for there really is no reasonable substitute / second-place contender!),get the 42 gal.; the biggest one. Reason: the travel trailer black tanks I'm familiar with are 40 gallon. So even if it's FULL, you avoid the mess of overflow! that is possible/likely? with smaller tanks. Best price we found was Amazon.com,IIRC.And it takes up very little more room than a smaller OOOPS!!! tank. Check the thread here for the pneumatic tire upgrade. You'll thank us later. ~GnarlyRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Redrocket204, I agree-the Thule TV mount is a joke. A well-meaning friend gave me one, still in the box.....it's still in the box, somewhere in the attic @ home. I ended up with this one for our 22":(picture) (Details) for <$40,shipped. Where did you get the struts, for the bunkbed mod, please? Thanx! ~GnarlyRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Thanx! ~GnarlyRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Looks great,batman99! I gotta confess: I never thought of adding a small 12V fan to the backside of our TT fridge! Have a small one INSIDE the fridge, but that is a superb idea....and prob'ly cheap insurance re: longevity. Question about the foam insulation, please: Whereja get it? Equipment needed? How difficult to apply? How hard to get even thickness? Really, really liked that idea too. ~GnarlyRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Good Luck! Sounds like a neat project. Good idea to raise the bed for maximum storage beneath....most of the space above the bed is wasted MOST of the time anyway. Someone on here recently mentioned taking out the 'dinette' and putting in a "Murphy table",for lack of a better descriptor....like a Murphy bed....and put in a couple used high-backed swivel office chairs, for dining as well as relaxing. If I were redoing the floor already,I'd be tempted to consider something like that.JMO! ~GnarlyRe: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosOur fridge fan is not as nice as the double one pictured above, but it is only about 3" square, moves a lot of air with very little power draw, and cost $6.95 delivered, from eBay. ~GnarlyRe: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosTo the folks looking to glue the rubber non-skid shelf liner, here is a site I use for any gluing questions: This to That There are drop-down boxes to choose what you're gluing...to whatever! And one of their primary sponsors is Campmor.... ~GnarlyRe: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosI read the first 22 pages before the storm moved in & I lost my connection. Has anyone mentioned the 18" magnetic tool strips, from Harbor Freight or Ace Hardware, etc.? They install with one screw on each end, cost from $2-$5 each (depending on strength of magnet). These are great for holding anything metal in place, from a Hocho knife to a church key; even our shortened mop & broom in the tallest closet. The strongest ones will hold up a 16" chainsaw by the bar;no kidding! ~Gnarly
