Looks good. I assume you would do it again?JT's Strong Arm Travel Trailer Stabilizer KitLooking for ways to get the motion out of my 26' travel trailer and think that for the money, the JT system may be my best bet. My problem is that the system specifies that the side-to-side bracing is on the front, and I do not have a cross member at that location to mount it to. I could add one, but it would never be as strong as the real frame. Is it just as affective to put the side-to-side brace on the rear? I have frame there to mount it to.Re: Testing 3 wire Dometic Thermostatthanks Doug. The roof AC fan functions as it did before when on Furnace. If in auto, it comes on when it is requesting the furnace. if in low or high, it runs constantly at the appropriate speed.Re: Testing 3 wire Dometic ThermostatPerfect, thank you Jim.Testing 3 wire Dometic ThermostatI'm having some issues with my furnace. Air is working fine but nothing happens when I turn the furnace on (exhaust fan does not kick in but the AC fan runs). I am thinking my issue is with my three-wire thermostat or control box in the AC. Since 2 of the three wires going to the thermostat are from the power source (red for 12v and black for common) I'm not sure how to test to see if it is an issue with the thermostat or the control board. I don't think you just test the orange wire for 12 volts. Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn't find it. Anyone know how to test this thing?Re: everyday truck ideas neededSmart choice.Re: everyday truck ideas neededI'm new here and not an expert but I would highly advise against towing a 30' trailer with a mid size truck. I did that years ago and lived to tell about it. If you try it, there is some white knuckle days in your future. While the MAX tow rating covers what you can tow, you are using the max and I would caution about getting close to max on anything. But, what bothers me the most is the 30' of cross section with a small tow vehicle. Tractor trailers will cause you to think you are driving on ice. The 1/2 ton trucks are almost as fuel effecient these days as the mid size and after you drive one for a month or so, you will be glad to have the extra room and mass. Just my opioion but when I read your post, I started having flash backs and had to say something.
