Still makes no sense but they are selling the darn things My 2008 Duramax when new listed at $48000. That's 14 years ago. With inflation, $82000 with bells and whistles sounds quite reasonable.Re: gooseboxDon't know why some folks think that I am to buy his hitch.Re: goosebox Rollochrome wrote: What exactly is the buyer wanting you to do about the current hitch? He has a ball in his truck. Looking at adapter and hitch, quoted $3000-3800. Goosebox looks to be around $1750 and maybe (my guess) $300-400 for install. Already dropped as low as I will go for fifth-wheel.gooseboxSelling my fifth wheel and potential buyer is talking about the goosebox pinbox. Anyone with one or knowledge of the goosebox?Re: I 40 knoxville to Winston SalemWork still happening at I40, I77 junction at Statesville but not a problem.Re: Question for those with an Auxiliary diesel fuel tankNo large piece of crud seen.Re: Question for those with an Auxiliary diesel fuel tankMy Transfer Flow has a filter between tank and fill tube. The dealer wanted $296. $140 service call 39 labor 458 converter 16 shipping $653 44 tax $697 total No grease included.Re: Streaming versus Broadcast TV To say streaming is "cutting the cord" to "save money" is pretty laughable at best. You must pay for premium current (and live) content and you must pay for your Internet service data on top of that. Quitting DTV and going to HULU I save $60 a month. I watch all the sports I want, record most shows that I watch and replay them later, skipping thru most of the commercials. Had the internet a long time before streaming, no increase there. I do have to sit thru commercials while watching live sports but usually have magazine I read while they are running. I must admit that I have never subscribed to Netflix and the others. I do not need the latest and greatest. What I watch and how may not suit others; that, they must decide and do. If you watch 3hrs of TV, how did you like watching that hour of commercials? Try timing commercials, it is close to 30% of the time watched. If I was on the road I probably would have DTV, record and watch later.Re: Reese SidewinderI have a Sidewinder. Like it, easier to back up. Make sure that the "universal adapter" fits your hitch.
