It was FREEZING! We totally snuggled with family and friends in our heated TT. It was great to have a change of scenery from the typical work week and we are so ready to get out as often as possible during these next months. Thanks to the heater, we can extend the season. This year we are staying in NY. The driving was a bit nerve wracking but we will get more comfortable as time goes on, I'm sure. We passed Camping World on our way home to get a rug which we had not purchased. Good times! Have fun!Re: Cayuga Lake NY.We went last weekend to Taughannock Falls - state campground. Really liked it there. Hookups were easy and in great condition. Get an RV site that is an even number. This way your camper blocks the wind (well, it was windy when we were there and the folks with the odd numbered sites had the wind blowing into their doors all weekend). The only place we could find wood was a the office, no one in the Ithaca area sells it like we are used to seeing. There is a great organic market right in town and be sure to ask about the ice cream place. Can't remember the name but it begins with a 'P.' The best part is the walk around the falls. Truly stunning. Enjoy!!
