This is good information. I also asked if the battery dies would this cause the car to go out of neutral and she said it would. I will have them setup a charger system for my edge. I was asking because while on a trip I met a guy towing a Flex and he was having battery issues and put a disconnect on the battery. That had me thinking that placing the ignition in the ACC position my be just to unlock the steering. I will try to get more info from ford. The dealer did not know. My question is my car has a keyless start and the steering does not lock. Do I need to turn the ACC on? I am being told the equipment being install will get power from my RV.
