Staying in the ski resort parking lots without hookups type of camping yet having running water and a flush toilet. Needs excellent insulation, thermal windows, tanks that are enclosed and heated by the furnace (not pads), heated storage, etc... Does it exist? We came from a 2011 F350 with a Chalet camper and it worked excellent in the snow but are really wanting to move to a van. Cross posted on the Class B forums too... Thanks for your time and knowledge. Cheers, KeithRe: Our custom true flatbed truck camper build thread Jfet wrote: kereams wrote: Awesome. Are you going to be at Overland NW? I'd love to have a walk around your awesome achievement. Cheers, Keith YES! We reserved two 20x20 spots at the Overland NW rally back in early March. Ouch that is only a month away now....better get busy. Awesome. We'll be there in our Overland equipped 4Runner. I'll look for your setup and stand in the long line of people that will be wanting a tour! ;)Re: Our custom true flatbed truck camper build threadAwesome. Are you going to be at Overland NW? What the what? Huh?Re: Our custom true flatbed truck camper build threadSounds serious! Is the winch mounted all the way back? Looks like the cable would get in the way but hard to tell with the angle.Re: Seattle RV ShowYes, vendors were a dissapointment too. More non-RV related vendors than RV specific vendors. Same people you see pushing Ginsu knives and Shamwows at the fair. Sad.Seattle RV ShowThey had 4 Class B vans at the show. One Roadtrek (Adventurous), one red Travato, the seriously overpriced Airstream and the Winnebago ERA 70 with the slide. This was among an ocean of trailers, C's and A's. The sheer volume of RV's with such a low count of B's was pretty disappointing.Re: New prototype truck camperAny other information on this out there on the web? I dont see it on their website.
