You just have to pay with cash and the giftcard when you check out.Re: Mt Ranier NPIf you want to go to Mt Rainier I'd suggest you go early in the morning to get a campsite. I've been there in the summer and it gets pretty jammed up especially around Paradise. I love the Sunrise area and the Grove of the Patriarchs because they are a bit further in and a wee bit less crowded. If you can't find a suitable parking spot in the park itself take a look just south in the Gifford Pinchot forest. There's quite a few campsites there and it doesn't get as crowded.Re: If I Hired a Raw-Food Apprentice....40 hours a week I'd want some pay. Let's say 40x$10 an hour so $400 a week, $1600 a month. Room and board is worth what? Not sure about your camper but let's say food is $300 a month for a single person. Once they are done they need some cash in their pocket to move on. Or reduce it from 40 to something less a week. And yes, contract is a must in these situations. Spell out all the terms (hours a week, what happens when they work more than that, what is included (room/board/pool/utilities)Limits?We currently have a Sportsmobile 2WD and are kicking around the idea of getting a 4WD vehicle. Not sure yet whether we want to go with another Sportsmobile or with a truck camper. (We currently have a Dodge 1500 and it's getting time to buy another. If we go the truck camper route we'd buy a 2500/3500). My question is this, where do you have to "watch out" where you are going? I already know that driving around most urban areas isn't fun in a truck but it's not bad. What I want to do is go down forest service roads and do some touring. By which I mean driving around and if I see anything interesting just pull over. So 4x4 for the forest service roads (I'm not talking the White Rim Trail here, just some dirt/gravel roads with maybe a lot of overgrowth). Is it pretty easy to travel this way? I guess I look at all that overcab/height/weight in the back and wonder how it affects the truck handling etc. ThanksRe: Probably belongs in routes and trips - butCheck out the Selkirk Loop. It's a fun trip and there's lots of sidetrips around it some more offroad then others.Re: Oil-less Turkey FryerWe have one. Probably use it 2-3x a month. You have to put it together correctly or I can see where it can get really flimsy. We had a few issues with the grease catching drawer but narrowed down the rails a bit and it works fine now. The chicken comes out really crispy and moist. We prep the chicken and put it in to cook. Then we just do other stuff while it cooks. We really enjoy it and have cooked a variety of meals in it. While it doesn't use oil, the taste is very much like fried (especially if you run whatever you're cooking in oil first.Re: Looky-lou -- Pleasure-way Lexor TD? Or?When I was searching I made a list of things I wanted and kept the manufacturer open. Pleasureway, Chinook, Roadtrek, Sportsmobile, Leisure Travel and one or two others that I've not forgot. I realized that what I wanted was a van that met certain requirements. Finding at a price I could afford....I figured I had to be flexible somewhere. I ended up buying a Sportsmobile and a small portable toilet for it. It had everything else and for less than 10K I figured I could make some compromises.Re: What is holding Google back from taking it all?A lot of the desktop licenses are sold to corporations. And those desktops need to be managed. Until Android comes up with a good enterprise/corporate story in that arena corporate IT depts aren't going to convert. And then if you change the OS you have to update the applications, which won't be cheap or easy. Not to speak of having to do training.
