When you charge an electric vehicle battery from the largest source of electricity which is natural gas and coal that natural gas and coal is also gone forever. https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/electricity/electricity-in-the-us.phpRe: Baggage Door CatchThanks guys. If I can't find an exact replacement I'll probably try the magnetic catch.Baggage Door CatchOne of my baggage door catches broke so I'm going to buy some new ones. The old ones are plastic and if I buy the spring loaded type they will be stainless. The new ones have the holes on a 3/4" center and my old ones are on a 1" center. I guess I'll have to mount them in a different spot and fill the old holes up with silicone if I go that route. Another option I have is to go with the magnetic catches. Those of you who have had both, which ones do you prefer? Will one magnetic catch hold a fairly large door open?Re: back to gas v dieselIf I were to buy a new truck it would have to be a 7.3. My 5th wheel weighs about 8,000 lb. unloaded and I have no plans of getting anything bigger. I have a 6.2 with a 6 speed right now and it's not too bad but it could be better. If it had a 10 speed I think it would much better than it is right now.Re: Truck of the Year Bumpyroad wrote: I like the trunk and pass thru but I think it also qualifies as the ugliest truck of the year. bumpy That thing brings ugly to a whole new level.Re: Ford Gas 6.2 vs 7.3I have a 6.2 and if I were buying new I'd get the 7.3. No matter which engine you choose go with the 10 speed. I don't like the 6 speed in bigger hills.Re: 2011 F250 SteeringI wouldn't think it's worn out after only 55,000 miles but anything is possible. I don't want to even think about a $2,000 repair bill. I'll get under it and try to see if anything is loose. It does have a stabilizer and I have bought a new one that I'll install soon.Re: 2011 F250 Steering theoldwizard1 wrote: danrclem wrote: It tracks very good and stays straight when I let go of the steering wheel. I'll have the alignment checked and go from there. Has anybody else had a problem like this with their Super Duty? 2WD or 4WD ? It's a 4WD and it has the snow plow package with the heavy front springs. Everything seems to work fine except I have to bring it back to center myself.Re: 2011 F250 SteeringIt tracks very good and stays straight when I let go of the steering wheel. I've had it for a few years but haven't put very many miles on it. It drove the same way when I bought it. I forgot to mention that it has a 6.2.
