When a new pre built cell site building arrives and is placed it is no where near ready for turn up. The Telco circuits don't just magically appear. We can not even design the circuits until the building is placed and signed off by the city. It then takes a minimum of three crews before we turn up our circuits (crew to place the cable, crew to mount the and terminate the cable, then our crew to program, test and turn up). A prebuilt cell site building is only sparsely equipped when it arrives at the site.Re: DirecTv Prices Soaring SCVJeff wrote: Kart-Racer wrote: az99 wrote: jim isham wrote: From what I'm read on the Satellite TV forums, Directv is starting to play hardball with discounts. They may have put a 'Red Flag' on your account saying no more discounts. That sounds correct as I talked a long time and they would not give anything. Maybe AT&T told them no more discounts.... ;) ATT can't "tell" them to do anything to something they don't own. It's likely that Direct is removing any discount or incentive that they can legally do to inflate the bottom line for the sale. sarcasm..... to many armchair CEO's here.....Re: DirecTv Prices Soaring az99 wrote: jim isham wrote: From what I'm read on the Satellite TV forums, Directv is starting to play hardball with discounts. I use two different software programs to monitor my cameras. On the windows server I use Blue Iris, on the Ubuntu server I use Zoneminder. I use the Blue Iris for remote access and the Zoneminder to record and monitor all the cameras locally. Blue Iris is around $50.Re: USB Printer wired network serverI have used Trendnet USB print servers with good results many times. No fees, very easy to setupRe: Advanced TechnologyIf an airplane can land itself, I don't see why a car won't be able to navigate the freeway
