He used the toilet brush to push everything down, and managed to remove the seal as well as get the brush stuck in the toilet. I was able to get the brush out, but I lost the seal. We replaced the seal this weekend but its not holding water in the bowl. Is it possible he bent the flush ball slightly and now its not against the seal like it should? So far we have been lucky and the smell isn't bad, but it would only take a real hot weekend to make the bathroom unbearable. Thanks MikeRe: Stabilize Large TrailerThose jacks are exactly what I'm using. I think the problem is I need to get more weight off the tires. I am going to bring my large 3 ton jack with me this weekend and get the weight off. I will post back with an update. I can almost gurantee that's what my problem is. Thanks but keep the suggestions coming. I'm in a new world with this trailer. The TT I could make solid as a rock.Re: Stabilize Large TrailerI guess I never thought to actually jack the trailer up and get most of the weight off the wheels. That is a great idea. I read that blocks every 4 feet will make it best is that overkill? My trailer is 40' long so that would be 10 on a side. ThanksStabilize Large TrailerHello, After many years of pulling my trailer, we have made the change to a park model at our favorite campground. We picked up the new trailer this past week but found it doesn't have any stabilizers at all on it. Would have been nice to know prior to accepting delivery. Anyways, I have concrete blocks and floor jacks currently stabilizing the unit but we are still getting quite a bit of wobbly when my kids are playing in the back. I think it might have to do with the direction the blocks are pointing. I have them set with the long side parallel to the trailer. I think it might be best if I turn them 90 degrees and let them be perpendicular to the trailer. We are still getting snow where we camp so we won't be using the trailer for another couple weeks but I want to get it as rock solid as possible. Any help/tricks would be greatly appreciated. TIARe: Trailer with 3 bedroomsThanks for all the criticism. I really love how people are challenging my parenting style because my daughter and son need some space to themselves. I'm glad all your children are perfect angels and never step out of line. All I wanted was the ability to give everyone some space and make it their own. Yes they get on each others nerves but what siblings don't. For those with the actual suggestions on trailers I appreciate your time. I did like the older model and wish they still made it as that would be perfect for me. See ya.Trailer with 3 bedroomsHello, This past season has confirmed I need to find individual space for my 2 children. The weather here in Ohio this summer has been difficult at best and we were trapped in our trailer a lot this year. Do they make a trailer that has 3 separate bedrooms? I have googled some but everything I am finding is much older. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks MikeOutdoor kitchen door that swings out not upHello, I am starting to look for a new TT that has an outdoor kitchen. Between my wife and myself, we are always inside either cleaning or cooking. Problem I have is I would hit my head on the door if it swung up, I would like to have it swing back toward the rear of the trailer. I would also need a set up bunks in it. Do they make such a thing? Any help would be appreciated.Camping StovesHello all, I have recently been looking at one of the larger camping stoves. Menard's has this one on sale today for $50.00 Menard's Stove, but the fact it is only at 10k BTU burner kind of has me scared. My dad who camps a lot has a larger way more expensive version from cabelas. Cabelas StoveI am trying to figure out if the extra heat really matters. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Re: First Time Seasonal CampingYou guys have given me a lot of great advise. What about stabilizing your trailer. Do you buy extra jacks to help support it? What about the slideout? I have seen mixed reviews on placing a support under it. We are on an asphalt pad, so once I get it solid, i'm not expecting it to move much. Thanks for all the help, and keep the advice coming.First Time Seasonal Campinghello all, This will be our first time seasonal camping, we have always stored our trailer after every trip. Any suggestions or helpful tips on what to do or not do? I can't wait for this weather to break so we can get out there and actually enjoy the trailer. Thanks
