My wife has been standing back at the bed when I was siding the hitch and saw it pull back on the rails.Re: 5th wheel hitch rail problemI do have center bolts but they aren't attached to anything but the bed and was pulling the bed floor up also.5th wheel hitch rail problemI have a problem with my 5th wheel hitch rail bowing in the middle when using my slider. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what can you do to prevent this from happening. Here are a couple of pics to show the problem. Plugging in to shore powerJust curious about something. When you get to your spot how many people turn the breaker off before plugging in and then turn it back on after you have plugged in, and how many just plug in without touching the breaker. I usually turn the breaker off before plugging in, but I have at times just plugged in not thinking.5th wheel hitch rail problemI have noticed the front rail on my 5th wheel hitch bows up in the middle. It has a bolt in the middle, but it is just bolted to the bed. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to correct it? Thanks in advance.Re: 2015 Bay Hill 295RL ProblemsI have a 2014 295RL and had a problem with the front ac. Called the dealer and they replaced it no problem. Only thing is I don't live but about 50 miles from the dealer I bought my from. Have not had any of the other problems you have talked about.Re: 2012 f250 Diesel Engine Fifthwheel towingI have a 2013 F250. Only thing I have added is the Timbren SES on it. I have a Bay Hill 5ver weighing in unloaded at 11,200# and the pin weight is 2200#. This is according to cat scales. The truck and trailer ride great, everything rides level and within tire, axle and gross limits. You should be fine.Re: Towing CapabilityWell after research, found out my truck came with extra on it and the sticker didn't mean anything. I bought the 5'ver we were looking at. Funny thing is, when I was picking mine up there was a guy buying a 5'ver lighter than mine and he had a Chevy 1 ton, and when I saw him hook up and his truck did the squat, I got worried. Then when I hooked mine up a little later I felt a lot better with my Ford 3/4 ton because I couldn't even tell it went down when I hooked up. His lights pointing at the sky, mine was riding level. Made me proud. But thank you to all you guys for your input.Re: Towing CapabilityAccording to what I have been told, I will be over the GVWR but not over on the GAWR on the truck. The GVWR is 10,000, the GCVWR is 23,500, and FGAWR is 5200, and the RGAWR is 6100. This is where I am confused. I will be over on the GVWR even if I have a 1300 pin weight. I'm not over the axle weight but am on the truck weight.Towing CapabilityOk, wife has me doubting myself now, so here is the question. I have a 2013 F250 6.7L diesel FX4 and thinking about getting a 5th wheel. The one we are looking at is a Bay Hill 295 and dry weight is 10800#, pin weight of 2100#, and can have a gross weight of 14000#. I need to know if anyone thinks I would have a problem pulling this thing. Thank you for any help y'all could give me.
