If you are traveling 77 south.... there is a KOA in Statesville at Exit 45. Location is just south of I 40 intersection. The best thing about the campground is the easy on/off access for an overnighter. It is not upscale, just basic + super convenient.369Views0likes0CommentsRe: Ford Focus problems?
Towing a 2014 Focus and all is well. Do have a battery disconnect switch. The computer seems to have no problem coming back after towing. There are pull thrus at Asheville East KOA. Not sure if 40' but call and ask. Sites are level and close to entrance of park right off Hwy 70. Easy drive into AVL by I 40. Friendly park and close to town of Black Mountain as well. There is a KOA West but have not been. They may have pull thrus.262Views0likes0CommentsRe: Delamination: deal breaker?
Do not consider for purchase unless you love problems!! It's likely the roof sealants were not maintained. Had a new unit that was "returned" due to delamination. If you live anywhere near a marine facility....ask to borrow a Moisture meter used on boat hulls. It is a small hand held device that will give you moisture reading as you hold it on fiberglass sidewalls. This device helped us to unload a NEW Jayco hybrid that had delam. Also prevented us from buying a used fifth wheel with severe sidewall delam. So sorry, I would push to "sell it back" to dealership.236Views0likes0Comments
