However, we store it in an indoor facility, and with the restrictions on us, I don’t feel comfortable going there to empty it out and clean it to get it ready to sell. (We are also in California, in the Bay area.) I don’t know if other people have the same issues.Re: Removed over/stove...replaced with two burner induction. We currently have a two burner electric cooktop (the kind that gets hot and shows red coils). We had been thinking of switching back to propane, but I will check out the induction type first. I really have trouble with only two burners!Re: Some fun We did this about 10 years ago on this forumBanff, AlbertaRe: Diesel ?DH and I are both approaching our 70's, and we've decided to buy a used diesel pusher and sell our 30 ft. gasser. Even after adding upgraded shocks and springs to make it a better ride, my body just couldn't take it for more than a couple hundred mile trip. We want to take some longer trips with our three dogs, so a more comfortable, less noisy ride seemed desirable to us. It's a pain to sell the 30 ft. Vista, that worked well for our short rides out to dog shows, but hoping to get it sold quickly.Re: DP service in SF Bay AreaWe use Leale's RV in San Jose. Maybe too far south for you, but they've been good for us.Re: we are so excitedRetirement is fantastic! Enjoy this next chapter. Congratulations!Re: Used RV resourcesThanks, just found NADA. Now looking for the more subjective review stuff. Seems like later models got very bad reviews. Seems like the company had a bankruptcy and some quality issues...Used RV resourcesWe currently have a 2013 Winnebago 30T, which we mostly drive to dog shows. We store it in an RV facility, and the storage guy mentioned that another storage customer has a 2010 Fleetwood Discovery LE, 40X. We had a look at it, and it is just beautiful! The owner installed pretty much any option available, and it has been very well maintained. We would need to replace all six tires, which have a 2009 date, remove a couch to install the dogs' crates, and nothing else. So here's the question. Where do I find the equivalent of the Blue Book for cars? I would like to know what the fair price is for the vehicle, and also what our current RV is worth. He is asking 120K for the Fleetwood, plus +/- 3K for tires, plus registration, tax, insurance, and monthly storage, Before we actually drive it and speak to the owner, I would like to have some statistics. Any advice?Re: CGs near NAPA ValleyWe were given a written document that said they could not be left alone. Period. And if anyone complained about our dogs, we would be asked to leave. The camp manager seemed to have had some problems with people with pets. I was very uncomfortable staying there with our dogs.Re: CGs near NAPA ValleyOnly negative about the Expo campground is their rule that you may not leave your pet in the RV unattended. Some people hired pet sitters to stay with their animal. We ended up taking them with us when we went for dinner. We don't leave our dogs alone in the RV long periods, but we don't like to take them with us to stay in the car when we go for groceries or out to dinner.
