I bought a DC hour meter for my Champ, but it doesn't seem to want to work. I've tried hooking it up both positive and negative, and positive to chassis, but no joy. Have tried two meters also. Any ideas?

No need to drain, blow or anything. Just put some Stabil in the gas can you use to fil your genny, lawnmower, etc. Stuff works great. My genny starts on the first pull everytime, even after several months of storage.

Well, I learned a lot from this thread. I'm glad I held out for the rebate offer! Tested the lil Champ on the 15k a/c last week and ran great. It's no louder than my little Coleman Sport 1600 that I use to charge batteries. I might experiment with some sound dampening for fun though.

I've been tempted to buy the Champion for some time, but am glad I waited. I picked one up last week with the rebate. Hopefully I'll get the time to fire it up this week and test it on my 5er (15k a/c). Rick, how is the Infineon race? I go to Fontana 2x a year. This Labor Day, I'll have A/C. Was 108 degrees in my camper last year (no a/c!!).
