We have a 2013 and it's been great! We are in the process of looking at a new Reflection by Grand Design FW... I would love another Sandpiper but we want to down size and they just don't make one small enough.

Sounds fine, just shut it off. It won't turn on cause its already hot. If you wanted just run a bunch of hot water to reduce the temp in the tank and it should kick in. If there was water in the tank you should be fine.

Same prob, supposed to be a 55gal tank and I did the same thing and got just 37gal. Dealer is currently looking into it. My guess is the inlet, overflow and suction placement from what I could see from underneath. Oh 12gal hot water tank. I'm making the dealer make it right before the warranty is done... good luck!
