Re: Canada Trip Planning
Its a beautiful drive along the #1 highway. Its well maintained, lots of campgrounds and reststops, easy breezy. Campgrounds fill up in the summer months especially weekends, book ahead if you can. Lots to see in Ottawa, winnipeg has a few sites to see, but there are no campgrounds in either city. Maybe a mall, wally world. I would suggest parking the rig at Falcon lake, about an hour before winnipeg, its a nice provincial park, and driving to winnipeg in the car.Tons of cities and towns between.

Along the coast we had to buy a dehumidifier. Dri z air can only do so much, in northern cali it can get swampy fast in a unit making it smelly and disgusting.

I would pick up an inexpensive one from an auto shop,40.00$ should get you one good enough for what you need. I work in a calibration lab and the difference now days between an expensive fluke and a cheap one is not more than a few degrees accuracy.
