If that isnt an option, then I would pick a '13 thats discounted to sell.Re: Towing without a W/D, 7K trailer, Ram CTD 3/4 tonThats a good point. Ill see if I can find a scale near by. Ill also look up the ratings without the WDH. I had a little sway with the WDH and sway control, and I think it is due to the tongue of the trailer being 2 inches high. Ill get it weighed before I head out, and move stuff around to make it right. Thanks for the insight.Towing without a W/D, 7K trailer, Ram CTD 3/4 tonIm moving about 350 miles next week. I need to drop the front of my trailer about 2 inches but have ran out of room on my drop hitch. No where near me has a WDH drop long enough. But I can get a standard 8 inch drop locally. This will make my trailer level but Im concerned about not having the WDH. Do I really need it, pulling a bumper pull 7K pound trailer with a 3/4 truck?Re: Sway Control HELP........Measure the frame, between the tires. Lets say it is 23 inches from the ground to the bottom of the frame. The top of your ball should also be 23 inches when the trailer is hooked up. Maybe even an inch lower. If the front is higher than the initial frame height, then you need a longer drop hitch.Re: Another ModGreat idea, and good execution! Definetly seal that grout. I like the orientation of your knives, your camper, your rules!Re: I want to add LED's on a motion sensorThe link works for me, maybe a browser issue. After fighting my trailer, buying a 3/4 ton Ram CTD, and then new tires, I figured why not spend another $900 to get this trailer to pull right. Yes my weights were all good, but the camper sits about 2 inches nose high. I think this is causing the truck to push some. Anyway, I have to get a longer drop to get the trailer down 2 more inches, as I'm already on the last holes for the WDH. With the Arrow, how do you adjust the height of it? If my truck is too tall with a standard drop and WDH, how can I expect it to hook directly into my receiver? Maybe Im missing something.
