She read in the manual that those are all run off the DC power loop. They bought a new batter since the one they had was old and maybe shot. They checked all fuses and breakers inside the camper they were fine. There is some sort of relay or inline fuse off her battery. Can someone tell me what this is? It is so old and rusty I am thinking it could be preventing the DC loop from completing thus nothing that needs the DC power will work. Thank YouRe: Restoring old prowlerOnce you get past the roof and your finishing up the inside let me know. There is a good chance my company manufacture the origional dinnette cushions and so on for that camper. We still manufacture new OEM cushions as well as replacement cushiones for people restoring or repairing campers. Best of luck with the renovation.Re: Camping in the Smoky MountainsWe just stayed at Clabough Campground in Pigeon Forge right off of Traffic Light #8 I beleive. Really nice campground but our last trip, prior to this one, we stayed down on the other side of Gatlinburg. I think I would have rather been down outside of Gatlinburg. The traffic on the main drag in Pigeon Forge can be a real pain in the butt during busy times.Re: Walmart Toilet Chemical vs. RV Dealer Toilet ChemicalWe are not on a seasonal site. We keep the valves closed until we leave or if at a site with sewage we keep it closed until we need to dump. I was suspecting a vent issue as well expecially since this is a brand new camper and there could always be a small issue if something moved or campe loose like a few of you have suggested. The camper was at the dealer this past week for a weather stripping issue around a window. They said they drained and cleaned the black tank and have no odor. I am going to bring it back home and use it again and see if the issue comes up again. If it does I will be sure to question venting. Has anyone used any of those after market vent caps to assist in venting? Do you really see a difference with those? I alway felt that if properly installed the stock caps would work fine. Thanks again!Walmart Toilet Chemical vs. RV Dealer Toilet ChemicalWe have only had our new camper for 3 months and have used it only on 4 different occasions. We are getting a very strong sewage smell from the bathroom. I am using the same toilet chemical purchased from Walmart that I have used for the past 10 years in my old camper. My camper dealer is telling me its the chemical, not something wrong with the camper. They are saying that the chemical they sell works much better. Of course its much more expensive. Im not denying that a more expensive chemical may work a little better but my question is why did this old chemical work so well for 10 years in our old camper and now seems to not work in our new camper. TimRe: 2002 Prowler Lynx 830 Y or 2001 Trail-Lite R-Vision 8301Not sure about the Trail-Lite but we used to have a 2003 Prowler Lynx 829T and I know for sure it was not built for cold weather camping really at all. Unless when it was built they had some type of polar package that may be added to this model, I know our's did not have it but when buying our new one it was an option that was available.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012I am just wondering how are people attaching things to the walls of their trailers. Expecially the flat panel tv's. I would love to do that but worried about it pulling out of the wall. What do you need to do special to make sure what you attach stays attached :)
