I would recommend Minuteman RV park in Littleton MA. It is a relativey small park in Westford MA. This is near Lexington and Concord which you can drive to. Also near two commuter train stations where you can catch a train to downtown Boston. You do not want to try driving your truck into Boston unless you really enjoy total frustration! I second Lampooner. We stayed there last year and really enjoyed it. Lots of trees, nice pool, well maintained. But have your bug juice handy, the skeeters were thicker than thieves!!Re: Solar panels and battery cut offLooks like I have some homework to do! Thanks for the ideas gang.Solar panels and battery cut offI have a new 5er. It came with solar charger - Go Power brand. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and haven’t had a chance to do much with ie because of the holidays and weather. My question has to do with the batteries and the solar chargers. When I put the rig in storage I hit the battery disconnect. I assumed the solar charger would still charge with battery cut off. But when I returned the batteries were dead. I guess I shouldn’t use the battery cut-off??Re: Break away cableI have the Ram puck system, so it’s not exactly railsBreak away cableHi folks, I’m a long time travel trailer owner who just upgraded to a fifth wheel. I have seen multiple references to people incorrectly looping the breakaway cable over their hitch arm. My rv dealer did exactly that when I took delivery of the new 5er. My question is, where should I attach the breakaway cable? Thanks, Mr. BRe: Hard tonneau covers and 5er hitch JKJavelin wrote: I have the Backflip Fibermax, 4 section. Fold it 3/4 of the way, lots of clearance with the standard pinbox. When I switched to a TrailAir pinbox I had to move the tonneau cover forward a little to clear the shock absorber. JK I have a TrailAir pin box as well. That may be an issue. Thanks for the info.Re: Hard tonneau covers and 5er hitchThanks for the replies folks. I’ll keep you posted on my decision.Hard tonneau covers and 5er hitchHi folks. I have a new Ram 3500 short bed with a Curt A20 slider to tow our new fifth wheel. I am looking at the tri-fold style hard tonneau cover. My question is can the cover be left on the truck in the folded position while towing or do I need to completely remove the cover?Re: Fifth Wheel cameras and tow vehicleThanks for all of the replies folks. I just purchased a 2019 Ram 3500 today. I decided to go with a moderately equipped Tradesman, so no plans to integrate with the 5” screen it came with. So the separate camera is the plan. Again, you guys are awesome. All the info on here really clarified my thought process.Re: Fifth Wheel cameras and tow vehicleLooks like it's a Furion 4 camera system.
