Slav, Maybe Starcraft changed something between model years; very possible. But on the 2004 21SSO, that black sweep at the top of the slide is installed on the exterior. Darn. . . wish I had my pics! If I remember correctly, there's a lipped channel that's up there - it allowed me to slide the old sweep off and put on the new one.Re: Carlisle HD Tire ReviewI just bought 4 Carlisle HDs last Wednesday and they were delivered to my house the very next day! That was fast! Taking the trailer to my mechanic so he can mount and balance them! I'm so excited!Re: PollBought 3 used. . . no regrets! Because of this forum (and some very good friends), all 3 of my campers are/were awesome! I've learned to "tinker" with both the interior and exterior. And as my DD pointed out to me "Momma, you would never be happy with a new trailer; you cannot tinker with it!" So, there you have it! (selling one and using the cash to pay for another was also a big plus!) :)Re: 2003 Starcraft Travel Star 21SSO Slide outOh, I know I have pics of this seal, because I replaced it on my 2004! (must have lost them on a crashed hard drive.) Anyways, here's a picture of the outside of my 21SSO with the slide out. It has the sweep at the top. And I also had the 2 bars, but instead of placing them at the top, I was told to place them on the sides; either way, I guess works. I hope this pic helps a tiny bit! Re: Fresh Water Tank Replacement Question Joe Williams wrote: Sorry. The drain valve I just replaced my drain valve. The handle cracked, therefore, I couldn't keep it closed! It was very easy. Once I took mine off my trailer, I looked on line for a similar fit. I could have (and probably should have) bought a heavy duty one, but I was in hurry for my next camp trip, so I bought the CAMCO one that was the exact replacement. It was an easy job! Good Luck! :)Re: Starcraft 21 sso hybrid slide question mjmoch wrote: Does the battery have to be hooked up for the slide to work? I had the camper hooked up to house plug but the slide would not work. Fuse is good. I previously owned a 2004 StarCraft 21SSO HTT. And yes, the battery does have to be hooked up and charged. However, you should have a hand crank tool that will allow you to open the slide without power. The tool is inserted right below the dinette on the inside of the HTT. Good Luck! :)Re: Dometic refrigerator wire shelf replacementSorry, I know this is an old thread, but I believe I am missing a shelf (compared the the same refrigerator from my previous camper). I've seen places selling the Dometic Refrig wire shelf for $60! I guess I could go to my Big Box Store and buy a piece of wire shelf and cut it down. Anyone else try that?Re: Newest Mod..........Can't wait to see the before/after pics!Re: Thoughts on a 2017 Springdale summer landI am currently selling my 2008 Summerland - not because of quality, but because I am downsizing out of a bunkhouse. I've had no issues towing this 29.1' trailer with my current tow vehicle. I don't think you'll have any problems.Re: 2003 Starcraft 19CK batteryThank you all very much! This is exactly what I need to give them. Now I'm going to convince them to become RV.net members! :)
