If you haven’t done it already Google Weingard Air 360. It’s a WiFi extender, has security protection to prevent hacking. We bought one, had our RV dealer install it, and could never get it to work. Calling Weingard was useless, left messages, never got a call back. Issues as I understand them: You have to have access to a STRONG WiFi system to set it up. It requires a SIM card, available from Weingard, ATT, or whichever comm company that has them, usually has a monthly fee, it can be activated on a monthly basis.100Views0likes0CommentsRe: Introduce Yourself!
Cont: We have a 2022 Grand Imagine XL 22RBE, we take a 4 week trip in the spring and another in the fall. We make reservations for our trips, and don’t have faith in the “play it by ear” hoping to find an open slot. Leatherneck1812 here, been RVing since 2001, we’re on or fifth RV (4 travel trailers (TT) and one 5th wheel). Various brands, on the trailers like some, we started small went big (the 5th wheel) and went back to small. What I take when I travel: 2 - Full 5 gallon gas cans. You never know when you need them. 1 - AC air compressor/canister. Many stations no longer have air available, or their hoses or pumps are not operational. Spare IT equipment cords, one set for the truck, one for the trailer. A small leaf blower, for cleaning off the awning before rolling it up. 4 - lawn chairs, two for my wife and I, and two for visitors. Bottled water for us and our two dogs. A good tool kit ( cable ties, teflon plumbing tape, assorted tools, proper sized socket for the water heater rod, batteries for the smoke/LP detectors, a small electric heater (So you don’t burn your propane), this is (for me the bare essentials) a basic list.9.8KViews4likes1CommentRe: Introduce Yourself!
We live in Oklahoma and I never thought I’d want a travel travel trailer, until that is, when my in-law’s talked me into borrowing their’s, (had to borrow the truck too!) and I was HOOKED!!!! Since 2000 we’ve had several RV’s and settled on a new Grand Design, Imagine XL, RBE22! We throughly enjoy traveling, we retired in 2017, and have been seeing our country. Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, Washington D.C., Michigan’s west coast & UP, just to name a few with more to come!1.9KViews2likes0Comments
