They stopped making this model by 2011...I had two issues, one a defroster thing when the coil on the pan somehow got split....pain the in rear to replace...but noticed that that fridge and freezer would heat up when winds would keep the air inside the slide and blow back the hot air...I bypassed the fans and had them run on a switch, which helped but did not get rid of the problem. If your 1402 is in a slide with a top slide vent...that might be it..Re: Recommendations RV Repair electrical/inverter NCThere is also a Camping World in Clayton but I wouldn't go there..Mario's is fine and if you were a bit east towards Rocky Mount there is someone. Your inverter might need a new board and in that case you would have to call the manufacturer of that inverter to find a place that can do that.Re: Towing a 4cyl Equinox 4 downEquinox does not accum miles while towing as long as you follow their procedure. There is a chime which times out after 30 min and a shift to park light but the battery charger takes care of that. Have talked to other 2018 owners who are towing...This diesel has good power and drives well...and I will be using it as a road commuter...by the way its competitor the EDGE will not be towable in 2019...Re: Towing a 4cyl Equinox 4 downI ended up with an Equinox diesel FWD which gets 48 mpg...set up to flat tow it...added RVi Charger and a separate direct 12 v fused outlet straight to the battery for a new Rvi Brake unit. have not flat towed it yet but will soon enough..have hooked all up and now sold Saturn and Sonic. Saturn was just getting old and AC would not cool dogs where equinox has rear ac. Went with Blue Ox tow bar /baseplate ...seems more heavy duty than old roadmaster was. Time will tell.Re: Leveling jacks would not retractIf an LCI system the motor may need to be running in order for jacks to operate...on my old DP if you didn't have 13.4 volts to the system you would get a low voltage light. You disengaging the parking brake put it into emergency retract mode. Next time, start engine first, then retract jacks.Re: Need advice: Shopping for a Class A...For a gas unit Newmar, Tiffin Winnebago or posdibly even one of the new Entegra class A gas units. All coaches have some issues but customer service, support, work with warranty etc makes the difference, and first prize for that would go to both Entegra and Tiffin...both offer great support, and service and those are the two I would go with...Yes I am a bit biased towards Entegra but having first hand experience with them makes them a winner for me. Now that they have come out with the Reatta (entry level diesel to compete with FOrza) and have the new gas units , they now have a coach to compete in every segment.Re: Towing your toadJust sold 2007 Saturn which was a daily driver and flat towed for 11 years.....Set up 2018 Equinox Diesel to flat tow which can carry the dogs and has rear AC and is flat towable..no fuse to pull...just charge battery while you drive. and it gets a real 48 MPG...and I do a great deal of highway driving with it...Re: 98 Monaco dynastyAir lock?...try opening low point drains from pump when engaged..Re: Shurflo water pumpExecutive is right on the money....but if you take out filter and still have a problem, you might have an air lock and that is purged by turning on pump and opening low point drains for about 3 seconds. Happens to Entegras.Re: The search begins....Nobody mentioned Entegra...all Entegras have a king bed...Entegra has a 2 year warranty too....and a good dealer in Atlanta.. You should look at Tiffin, Newmar and Entegra, then decide...The decision I made with my present coach I do not regret at all.
