High temp light on. Check engine light on. Power loss. Shut down in parking lot. Coolant blew, along with soft plug and overflow tank. Conclusion: Water pump belt broke. Belt replaced. Added coolant, new overflow resevoir, added coolant, brought to temp. Temp stable. Saturday: Same symptons. Pulled onto scenic pull out. Conclusion: Water pump probably failed (impeller?) Will report on the rest as known. Moral: Always carry spares belts! Conclusion:: Water pump gone. Replaced along with thermostat.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & GizmosWe replaced the original clock with an atomic that gives us time, date, day of the week, temp, humidity and moon phase. I have no bedside table on my side of the bed, so I bought a travel clock with a cover, took the cover off and attached it to the bottom of the cupboard over our heads. It's not lit, but has a button to push to illuminate the numbers (in a soft blue, so it's not blinding).:BRe: You MIGHT be an RV'r if . . . klenger wrote: You check rv.net before you go to the bathroom when you wake up.
