Cleaned out the poop and debris (rocks included) from the pack rat nest in our engine compartment. Discovered this little gem after DH started the rig and heard a thump and screeching noise. No, not one of the rats.....one of the small rocks got flipped up and became wedged between a bolt and the edge of one of the pulleys for the serpentine belt. Nice. Time for a new belt! Spent the next several hours checking for damage....went over every inch of the compartment with a fine tooth comb. No other damage that we saw. Tonight? Jump on the creeper and check the whole length of the rig. Also ran to the store to get more moth balls and rat poison. Installed a new 24" LED TV in the bedroom. Took off the center cabinet door from the built-ins at the foot of the bed and mounted the TV in the empty space. Fits perfectly and is at a perfect angle for watching from the bed. Bonus points? Last year we removed the small 13" tv that was mounted on the underside of the built-ins (what an eyesore) so the electric and cable connections were already present inside the cabinet! Painted the cabinets in the bath. They were light oak, which is throughout the entire rig and for which I am not fond. Good primer (Kilz) and the paint glided on like glass on both the solid wood and vinyl covered pressed wood. They look great, even with the old hardware! Now I'm staring at all the wood in the rig and pondering return on investment.....looks like a huge job....contemplating if it would be worth it.346Views0likes0CommentsRe: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

We had a transmission oil flush and replaced the filter. Bought the rig last December and have had some transmission overheating problems the past few months. We added a transmission thermostat and cooler, plus a temp guage just recently, and decided to do a flush so everything was new and ready to go. Planning to leave for Puerto Penasco Mexico tomorrow morning for a weekend trip. Very excited to be getting out of town and going to the beach!337Views0likes0Comments
