Thanks for response. Which bolt hole? You mean reem out all the motor mount holes so it has some room to move? I feel like the torque of the motor on the slides will be too much to be held by tightness of the screws. It will just shift back down. I'm going to post some pictures in my post of the gears...does the motor gear need replacing? My buddy is a master tech...several Carriage's had this fix.Re: Cameo Slides - Gear skippingYou can remove the motor and reem out the bolt hole a little to achieve a better mesh.Re: When is a purchase a purchase? Mondooker wrote: Ok, I can add a little context here. He purchased a Jayco Pinnacle and a friend of his is in management there. Due to that he felt comfortable feeling things will go well. Apparently the dealer did the PDI’s they could do. Others required things shipped from Jayco like two bay doors (have no idea what’s up with that) and something else that had to come from Jayco. I guess that makes a little more sense. But I think id still rather sign when everything is done. But we may not know all the specifics. . I do appreciate your input on the legal part of things. I'm a dealer and need baggage door assembly made by Challenger Door, who is owned by Lippert who owns everything else. Lippert is going thru Integration and are probably a month or more behind. I can't even get a part number or price and availability for 4 weeks now. Jayco would get the bay doors and stuff from Lippert. I'm sure the dealer would love to complete the PDI and make the customer happy but they likely have no control over it.Re: hydraulics in cold weather SUMRX4 wrote: Does cooler weather typically effect hydraulics operation. Winterized my unit last week and when I tried to close the main slides (hydraulic operated) they would move about 6" and stop and the touch screen would say "Fault occurred" I could release the control and touch it again and it would move about 6" and do the same thing. I'm thinking it was just because the fluid was cold and a little thicker. Does this seem typical and if so, is there an additive to help with this issue? You have an auto reset breaker that is getting warm and tripping. They reset themselves in 4-5 seconds. Your pump has to work harder in cold weather to move the fluid and is warming up your breaker sooner than normal. It's normal and won't cause any damage so don't worry. If you want to improve it you could swap out the breaker with a higher amperage one...easy to do.Re: Evergreen RV recordsI think you'd have better results if you knew who the selling dealer was when new and ask them.Re: Peeling clear coat and faded paint on class AJane..maybe could ask Mookiekat..she may knowRe: Jensen CD/DVD PlayerThere is probably another in line fuse behind the unit. Unscrew it from the wall and pull it out to see.Re: The problem with dealers and warranty repairsJALLEN4 is legit..check him out. This is also another reason that sometimes a dealer doesn't want to do the warranty work on a unit he didn't sell. No guarantee he will 100% get paid for the job from the manufacturer. Our biggest chargeback for warranty audits was around $49KRe: The problem with dealers and warranty repairsI am an ex Dodge dealer...JALLEN4 is correct.Re: Price thoughts on this fiver mowingman wrote: Before you buy it, take a look at the website for Kansas RV Center. They have a number of used high-end 5th wheels on the lot. All of theirs have been thoroughly checked out from end to end, so no guessing as to condition of what you are buying. The pricing on their high-end used units is VERY reasonable. We were just up there this Monday and looked at 8, used, 5th wheel units. I would say all 8 were as good as, if not better than what you are looking at. Plus, the prices are great. We are going back to pick up the one we bought, an 05 Hitchiker, in a couple of weeks. Great folks to deal with, fair prices, and a great selection on hand. FYI, we gave about $10,000 less than what that one is priced for. It pays to shop. What units did you look at that you think compare with an Elite Suites from DRV? Although a Hitch Hiker is a great unit..it certainly doesn't compare with an Elite Suites
