We tow heavy, right at truck max ;-), and it rides very well towing or not.Re: Inflatable KayaksTake a look at the Advanced Elements Island Voyage. We've had ours for three years now and it does work well. The air chambers inflate to 2 and 3 psi so it's quite stiff. We use the 2-way pump with a gauge to inflate it.Re: Easy way to tell what outlets are on my inverter? We have one of the Furrion stainless steel cooktops and oven in our rig and it uses a battery in the little ignitor button.Re: Water-less RV washingAnd another vote for Wash Wax All.Re: Real-life experience blocks to aid 6-point leveling systemWe made 6 "pads" out of 12" square 3/4 inch thick marine grade plywood,2 pieces thick screwed together with deck screws. Painted them white. We've been using them almost 20 years so they're holding up very well. We use them under our 6 point hydraulic leveling legs every setup. Helps prevent settling on soft ground and doesn't leave rust stains on concrete pads. They ride, 3 to a side, in the truck bed in front of the hitch so it's easy to reach over the side to get them when setting up.Re: Heartland Big Horn Fifth Wheel TrailersWe really like our Bighorn 3760EL. Have over 6 months of living in it while snowbirding down south. Probably towed it around 10,000 miles. No issues big enough to take to dealer. Fixed a few minor things ourselves like loose screws and very minor water drip behind the outside shower. It is warranted for full time use as ReneeG mentioned already.Re: Westlake tiresOur 2019 Bighorn 3760EL came with Westlake ST235/85R16 tires on it. Got over 7,000 miles on them and they're just like new. No uneven wear, no cupping or bulges. We run them at 110psi checking pressure everytime we start a days tow. My understanding is that they are speed rated to 75 mph although we usually run 65 to 70. Retired so no reason to haul ass like some do.Re: Water PumpMight be a good idea to open your low point drains and all the faucets first. That way any water left in your lines will drain outside the rig.Re: cable splitter locationI would think any hidden splitters would be after the antenna signal booster switch, wouldn't they? If you have good, clear picture while using antenna it would seem that the park cable to the booster would be the culprit. Shouldn't be any splitters on that length of cable. If this is true then the ends on that park cable might need replacing as others mentioned.Re: Yellowstone glacier NP with no reservationsMight look at Flagg Ranch. It's just outside the South entrance to Yellowstone which puts it between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.
