I do not see a rear living room floorplan that the OP asked for The OP said they "liked" the rear living room, not that they need it. They were looking for other lite weight options. My bad for providing them something else to look at! actually they did say they "need" it. they listed 2 things. rear living with recliners and a slide. then they said " is there a trailer out there to fit our needs" popupcamping wrote: WoodGlue wrote: Check out Lance Travel Trailers. Not built with wood, they have 2" Block foam insulation w/ aluminum framing and Azdel in the walls (instead of Luaun) Very well made and very lightweight!! 2013 Lance Trailers Luaun sucks! Lance is into the 2014 model year now where they offer a 2 year warranty! WoodGlue :? Lance doesn't have a rear living room floorplan that the OP said was one of their needs Re: outdoor kitchen door gas support liftsI would recommend drilling the screw holes out to at least twice the size of the mounting screws (if not already done) then fill with epoxy. Once the epoxy cures to a semi-hard state, screw in your mounting hardware but don't put weight or stress on it yet. Allow the epoxy to cure with the screws in it for a few hours at least (overnight if possible) before using or applying weight to it. The cure time on epoxy is fairly quick so have everything handy and ready. I've used this method before with great results.Re: new light weight camper popupcamping wrote: Canyon-Cruiser wrote: Vista Cruisers by Gulf Stream We love ours. :? Sounds very nice, well thought out and built. Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. Enjoy. I'm sure you earned it.Re: 2005 4Runner with V6 EngineCan it be done? Yes. Will you be happy with it? That's up to you. I have a GMC Canyon crew cab with an I5 and a Max tow of #5500. I was like you and didn't want to invest in a tow vehicle right now either. After tons of research and shopping we bought a Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser 19'. Dry weight was #2900. With a E2 WDH the truck does just fine. I have pulled up some pretty good grades so far and no problems. Now, would I rather have a V8? Yes. But, I'm happy to use what I have for now and it also gives me the ability to shop for a TV when I'm ready and not have to rush into it. Hope this helps you.Re: Camper for four or lessTake a look at these. Vista Cruiser 23 RSD Vista Cruiser 23 DSRRe: 30 or 50 amps?Geeze!! All of you with the 50 amp saying you "can't" do this and "can't" do that with 30 amp, what are you trying to run? We have 30 amp and run our lights, WH (yes electric), refrigerator and A/C (even a coffee pot and TV at times) and have yet to trip the circuit. Either a lot of you are using older appliances that draw more amperage or your fudging on what you really do run. OP, My opinion is not worth anymore than any of the others on here but, it just comes down to personal preference and usage. You also have to take into consideration where you will be doing the majority of your camping and what they provide. If they only provide 30 amp, it really doesn't matter that you are capable of 50. We live on 30 so when 50 is available there is no change in our camping style.Re: Done and Done!Congrats! Can't wait to see the pictures. Ah, the joy of a new TT. If you need any help spending your money just let me know! :BRe: New Vista CruiserThanks BF. Great video.
