Anything I should get before picking it up? RobWNY wrote: NHFirefighter, how many of the Lock-Arms do you use? I watched a video from BAL that showed using 2 sets on the front and then the guy suggested 1 set for the back. Not sure why he wouldn't suggest 2 sets for the back as well. Do you find the stabilization is better than the tripod or just like not having to set up/take down the tripod each time you use it? I just use them on the front. Had both tripod and bal and honestly can't tell the difference.Re: New 5th Wheel. Anything I should get before picking it up?Lots of folks use a tripod. We prefer BAL Lock-Arm, just as stable and don't have to load and unload from truck. Personal preference.Re: Firestone Air bagsHave them and love mine. Wouldn't tow on any future truck without them.Re: towing 5th wheel with short bed Ford F250Have used our sliding hitch once in 3 years in a place I shouldn't have been. It is excellent piece of mind. It will be useful in spots that are unlevel and you have to turn. As others have said cap corners will have a lot to do with it.Re: Can someone help me with my hitch ?It was probably jammed on the cotter pins. Double check your manual for the 'slide unit'; mine states the cotter pin needs to be on the outside of the rails so it is able to lock in the tow position. My guess is your mechanic forced it to lock and that was the cause of your problem.Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~C.B. How did you make your flag holder.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics here 2009 2500 crew cab 4.10 rear axle Line-X and fold-a-cover
