You’re looking for the Thor (four winds or chateau) model 28a. Previously the Majestic 28a as mentioned above if you’re looking for something more than a few years old. There is a couch in that spot, and would also make a good location to add a desk or something else next to the dog crates. I’ve been watching this as well, it is tempting to wait. Even in the explorer and ranger, the OHV engines performanced so much better IMO than the high revving SOHC engines that’s followed. I had an e350 v10 with 5 speed torque shift and it got the job done, but you get tired of the engine screaming all the time. The idea of a monster v8 and six speed is certainly appealing. Big second alternator, lots of solar and lithium batteries. Low end torque for days. I’m no expert on the class A chassis, but my understanding was that a lot of them have a 10 speed transmission, while the E series is still a six speed transmission. If you’re coming from a 10 speed to a 6 speed, that will make a huge difference in drivability. What axle ratio is in your class C?494Views0likes0Comments
