I own a 97 the same as what you got. the truck weights 6600lbs on dot scales gross weight is 10000. so that gives you approx 3400 lbs. with my eagle cap 950 i am 10800 or so with my gear hope that helps.

Paul there is AF dealer in south western ont,and 1 outside fo montreal. Fraserway in Cookstown sell Adventurer and Eagle Cap. There is not many dealers in ontario that carry truck campers good luck hunting.

Been in one last fall nice unit, I would think you would want on a dually to set it on. Not as nice as a EC but $10,000 xcheaper and lighter than EC1160.

2009 ec 1160 is suppose to weight approx 3580dry 4180 wet plus options. the newer models are 4in wider and the floor is over the box rails a different design My weight on my 950 are preaty close to the plate 4000lbs full water and gear and food. the 1160 should be around 5200lbs ready to roll.
