All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Refridgerator is acting bizarreYou're right lol we should've checked. We replaced the circuit board and now we have no power at all. no lights . nothingRe: Refridgerator is acting bizarreIn case someone else has this problem I wanted to put the solution. We purchased a 2nd thermistor and now it's running fine, which means the 1st thermistor we bought was faulty.Re: Refridgerator is acting bizarreI'm in the same place I was the last 2 winters and never had this problem. I've had this rv 4 years and even in Colorado in worse cold weather so something broke recently. I'd like to replace the part. Thank everyone for trying :)Re: Refridgerator is acting bizarreOk I figured out the issue more. The fridge is shutting off when it gets below freezing at night. As soon we use the heat gun to warm up the back of the fridge it turns right back on. So something isn't keeping the back of my fridge warm. Does anyone know what part that is? Is it the heating element causing this?Re: Refridgerator is acting bizarreThe fridge light has been only coming on at night and in the morning we could get it back on but today it's not coming back on. Everything is defrostingRe: Refridgerator is acting bizarreis there a way to test the circuit board?Re: Refridgerator is acting bizarreThe circuit board is on the opposite side so it didn't get wetRe: Refridgerator is acting bizarreWe are outside now using a heat gun on low to dry this out. Maybe it didn't get dry enough the first time. We've had this rig for about 4 years now and I don't think the gas ever worked on the fridge so it's always been on auto. I did notice though that our stuff wasn't warm in the fridge so the check light isn't turning the power off. I just don't understand why all of the sudden it's doing it. All we did was replace the thermistor. We can't try putting the old one back in because my son had to cut the wire to get it out.Re: Refridgerator is acting bizarrewe use it on electric. We are in Arizona so we have only been using a tiny plug in heaterRe: Refridgerator is acting bizarreThank you for such a quick response! The model # is RM2652. Thankfully the board didn't get wet. We've tightened everything and it's working now but the check light will most likely come back on again. Seems to turn on during the night
