Take a LEFT at the stop light by the Shell Station (Southton Road). Take another LEFT at the next light sign by the Valero (Donop Road). Continue north on Donop Road past the Days Inn & Suites until you reach the arches at the entrance of Braunig Lake RV Resort.Re: Torn Rotator cuffI have had both shoulders done. The worst part is the first 3 days after surgery. After that, physical therap a little hard at first, but I was back driving and just about anything in 3 weeks or so. Need to be careful about lifting and sudden movements,,, like catching something. Also,, depending on which side your having done, if your right handed and getting right shoulder done... you might want to practice a certain little chore with the left hand. Wiping something,,, because unless you have a really loving, dedicated, loyal wife/friend, it gets a little hard to do. So practice a little. :)Re: Heartland TQ 270 HG cool new concept!Just so you know,,, the Heartland RVs web site has just been completely rebuilt. Not sure they have it on the best server yet and it still has some problems which they are working on. Slow loading and page not complete are the most common right now. But keep checking, it will get fixed. Also check the Heartland Owners Forum as there is lots of information there. Jim MRe: San Antonio, Tx areaCheck out the San Antonio KOA. It is fairly easy to get to and they have bus service from park to downtown I have been told. The SA Bus system has buses that run all over town and they are color coded. You can ride all day for just a couple of dollars, get on and off all you want. See the Alamo, the River Walk, El Mercado, about the best way to get around SA. The drivers are good about telling you what you can see and where to get off and on. Even thou we live not to far from SA,, when we go to the river walk or downtown SA, we park and use the bus to visit the sites. Jim MRe: RV Storage Houston Texas 7 day cruise?Another idea... take your unit into a dealer for some service,, wiper blades or oil change,, something cheap,,, go back a week later.. it will not be done,, so pick it up because you got to have it... no charge. :)Re: Ordered our new rig at the Hershey Show scrapperlila wrote: Well we did it! Trading in our 2003 38 ft. Citation and getting a new Heartland Big Country 3150 RL. It was great seeing the quality of the different units and finding one that fits our needs. So thrilled that we can custom order exactly what we need for our style of camping. Thank you Joel for spending so much time with us. Now we wait.... Congratulations on your Big Country,,, now the wait begins. When you place your order, if salesman says it's not avaliable or it's not on the list, have him call Heartland and make sure he checks... lots of options are available if you want them that are not on the upgrade or option list. Join us on the Heartland Owners Forum and meet a great bunch of folks. Jim MRe: Florida to ArizonaDon't forget San Antonio, TX... the Alamo,, River Walk,, all the missions. Spend a few days at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in Boerne, TX... 30 min to downtown SA... almost in the hill country.. Luckenbach, Tx... you can't miss that ...Kerrville,, Fredericksburgh, TX.. Lots of things to see and do.Re: RGV RumorsIf it's like a lot of areas here in Texas the taxes did not go up... ask any city or county politician... BUT THE PROPERTY VALUES INCREASED...:) No the tax rate did not go up,, but my house value for taxable purposes increased by about 20%. So I now will be paying about 20% more in taxes. It's still the same house and roof and floor as it was last year.. but now it's worth more. Must be becoming an antique. :)Re: Onan generator caught fire today. If the smoke came from around the generator, one of the first things you need to check is the Transfer Switch for burned wiring and connections.Re: Campground Fees: 50 amp service $1 per day? What is the name of the park?
