The lights are already in the garland and it is stored during the rest of the year.Re: WE DID ITCongratulations! Enjoy your new rig.Re: Spiders!I don't like spiders in the house. Lately, I've had two encounters with large, hairy wolf spiders running up to me. When children make these claims they are discounted, but it really happened, twice. The first time while sitting in a chair one ran across the floor up to my chair, but the other night one ran out from behind the bathroom sink and ran right up to my hand and immediately ran back behind the sink. Not wanting another surprise, I went to the store to buy bug spray. The directions on the spider spray (about $8.00) said it kills on contact, so I decided to just use my hair spray at home which also kills on contact. I have been running a yard stick all around behind and under the sink to force it out in the open, but I haven't seen it since. Hair spray in hand--I am ready for it.Re: Manual vs Automatic transmission in TVThanks for all the information. I would prefer buying an automatic for resale value and convenience of driving. We did find a very small fifth-wheel, so now, we are looking for a TV. The seller delivered it to the house. We are excited to get back on the road and enjoy camping again!Damon Hornet questionWe want a very small (21ft) trailer and found a fifth wheel, a 1998 Damon Hornet. It is clean, looks nice, and is well within our budget. Does anyone have any experience with one of these? Would you recommend it? We are weekend campers and need to be able to fit a trailer in a tight spot next to our home. Would you recommend a fifth-wheel over a regular trailer?Re: Manual vs Automatic transmission in TVThanks for the information. We will need to match a TV to a TT which will be used in the mountains during the summer. We will only use it for a few nights at a time and are considering 25 to 28 feet. Nothing fancy but we will need to be able to climb without overheating.Re: 5 things we love about our RVgreydennyhawk, we have camped for decades and the fellow campers are awesome. They are there to have a good time and enjoy time with their friends and family so they are wonderful to be around. (I know, sometimes loud music, pets, etc. are mentioned, but really, most of the time, you will have a great time.)Manual vs Automatic transmission in TVThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28132343Manual vs Automatic transmission in TVWould it be beneficial to have a manual transmission in the TV to help with getting the trailer up steep mountains?Re: Hello, Looking to get into a TTI don't see a sink in the bathroom...???? For me this would be a deal breaker, especially with kids brushing their teeth in the kitchen. Did I miss it?
