Have been going for many years ..Probably will cross into Mexico at Algondonnes around mid Oct. I drive a truck and camper towing a car .. If anyone wants to travel with me they are welcome..going as far as Mulege and beaches of concepcion.. I get by pretty good with my spanish..Re: Need advice on TIPBased on all the info here ..I think I will cross into Mexico in Nov. and if I'm not able to get the TIP's either online or enroute...I will stay in the free zone which I believe is as far south as Guaymas. Wow!! Certainly no clear answer. A big thank-you to those who took the time to respond .Re: Need advice on TIPThanks Playaboy...I'm still in Baja where there are no issues ...but I will look into your suggestion when I get back to Canada.Re: Need advice on TIPThe truck is not a dually and in the past my husband and I got permits for our 5th wheel and same truck with no issues.. Since he has passed away ..I now travel with a slide in camper towing a chev tracker which is much easier.. I'm in my seventies and sure would like to go to the mainland again.. If not I guess I'll have to rethink next winter's plan.Hence the reason to be certain before crossing. I do appreciate all the input and find this forum a wealth of information.Re: Need advice on TIPCan someone clarify playaboy's last statement? I would hate to cross into Mexico and be denied the two permitsRe: Need advice on TIPThank-you so much for a quick reply..Just the answer I was hoping for.Need advice on TIPI would like to travel to Mazatlan next winter..Here's my question.. I have a truck and camper and tow a tracker..I would like to bring both vehicles .. I'm single and vehicles are in my name ..Can I get TIP permits for both ..It would mean 2 (TIP 's)in my name for the 180 days ..I understand a camper is considered as cargo and not a RV..also truck is 1 ton Dodge.. Is there a way to get TIP's for both ? and be legal? I would appreciate any advice ..ThanksRe: New Los mochis RV parkI certainly would stop there rather than a Pemex and I would feel much better being a lone traveler..Also would be great to be able to ask local people about any places of interest in the area .. I realize many people just like an overnight stop. I think charging accordingly for electric versus dry camping would be a good idea .I'm all for a better stop than what now exists.Re: Crossing the Border at San Luis?Thank you to all for your responses. Based on this info we'll be crossing at Lukeville...especially from Mexicoruss who lives here and would have very current info.Crossing the Border at San Luis? Can anyone give me an idea on how the crossing is for big rigs going into the USA? We are in Puerto Penasco and thinking of taking the coast road next week. Would we use the new truck crossing? Appreciate any comments..Thanks
