Tork lift has a product called stableloafds, upper or lower versions. you might look into them. They engaged your over load spring when loaded. My rig never engaged the over load springs when camper was on. Now the stable loads engaged the over loads. I have airbags also and I air them up till the stable load just tuoch the spring. For me these system nearly eliminated all sway.

Put a bar on my rig. {2003 Dodge Ram ton} Not Ford but if results are what you want then the sway bar is your friend no matter what you drive.

I don't use any markers in or on the bed or camper. I just lay the diver seat back all the way and look over my left shoulder. I can see just where I need to be when loading the camper. Works for me. Ya it only applies to a king cab or crew cab.

Seems to me you could make your own Y adapter . Order what you need and you should be able to make your self what you need.

If you need an extra plugin for towing, the easy way is to buy a "Y" adaptor that plugs in to the rear bumper plugin. No wiring needed.
