With full fresh water tanks, we are having a heck of a time getting more than a trickle out of the faucets/shower, etc. We can hear the water pump running and thought we were doing it "right", but apparently not? Any suggestions as to what we're doing incorrectly would be appreciated. Seems like we should have at least a useable water flow... ThanksNew to the fray...We just bought a new travel trailer, and are looking for a good campground for our maiden voyage. We are in the Phoenix area, and are looking for our first outing to be the end of August/first couple weeks of September. (We're quite excited about it) It would be like a 4-day weekend, to get our proverbial feet wet. Thanks, all.Quiet Generator fot 23ft TTGood evening all, Looking for thoughts on a generator that is quiet, has enough power, and is as light as possible for our new Koala 23ls. As usual, I value your opinions. Thanks in advance.Re: Ready to pull the triggerHey Sandia...not sure where the first trek will be, except for Yuma, to the in-laws. 20+ years of RVing, and they are "insisting" on helping us outfit properly...can't ask for much more. We've been considering the Snowflake area for our first excursion...but we'll see... Very excited and looking forward to fun and relaxing away from the city.Re: Ready to pull the triggerIt'l will be just me and the wife...long weekends about a half dozen times a year.Ready to pull the triggerThe wife and I are ready to "go for it", I think. We've found a Skyline Koala 23LS that we are in love with. Dry weight 4850#. Add batteries/propane/hitch and a little water, we should be pulling at around 5200#. Will be pulling with a 2009 Tahoe, 5.3L, HD towing package, Equal-i-zer 4 point hitch, Prodigy P2 brake controller. Thoughts anyone?Re: 2009 Tahoe 5.3L 4WD 3.42 GearsThe VIN on the Tahoe is where I came up with the 5700# capacity. It does not have the auxiliary cooling package, although I have had an aftermarket Auxiliary transmission cooler added, and it does have the HD Towing package (Z82 RPO Code).Re: 2009 Tahoe 5.3L 4WD 3.42 GearsHow do you like the Equal-i-zer hitches? Thanks again.2009 Tahoe 5.3L 4WD 3.42 GearsI'll cut to the chase. My wife and I (no kids, pets, etc) have our eyes on a TT and we're looking for experienced opinions regarding what would become the setup. We have a 2009 Tahoe, 5.3L 4WD with 3.42 gears, 6 speed with tow mode. It has the 10k# factory hitch receiver. It is rated to tow 5700#. I have added an auxiliary transmission cooler and am considering adding an auxiliary engine oil cooler. The TT: Koala 23LS. Thoughts? ThanksRe: Tahoe Towing CapacitySo, I can have an auxiliary transmission cooler and HD engine oil cooler added, and that decrease the 2500# towing delta? (By the way, everyone, can't thank you enough for your information. VERY helpful)
